1-1 anyone? Second visit to the New Lawn for me, won't be attempting to go down the hill and try to come back up it ten minutes before kick off this time, though. Would take a draw, but have a sneaking suspicion we will lose this.

1-1 would be our 9th 1-1 this season. #boringbastards

I have a feeling that this one has draw written all over it, probably 1-1, with us scoring from open play and our opponents netting from the mandatory penalty kick...I'm certainly not expecting a goal-fest from two teams who concede on average less than a goal a game.

(I have probably hexed this now, one team will secure a narrow win in a seven goal thriller)

Expect Tranmere will try to play their own game rather than setting out to stop ours as Cheltenham did Saturday so might be a bit more open. Nors to fluff a one on one at the death for old times' sake? Warm reception for Manny too, I hope.

Team selection will be interesting this evening, I certainly hope that Brown starts. On Saturday our starting line up suggested a team that would aim to get the ball on the ground and attack with pace, particularly down the wings, we didn't really do that unfortunately. Hopefully we produce one of our early season starts, full of pace and drive from the off, we need to!

I’m sorry to be missing out on a trip to TNL. I rate FGR as one of the better away days ( apart from the vegan slop served up inside the ground) in this league and the one below.
1-1 is the score line I’ve gone for in front of 300 SWA.

Since the 2017 Wembley match Tranmere have become one of FGR's favourite teams.
Their supporters were terrific to FGR fans after final whistle and it was very much appreciated.
And of course Tranmere have two excellent former FGR players in their team: Norwood & Monthe.
Lovely people, lovely club so lets hope we all have a great game.

3. Ellis is there too.

And this isn't a fucking tea dance. I hope we smash em.
Chris, I want FGR to win every game including match tonight BUT whatever result Tranmere will remain a bloody good club in the FGR fan's opinion.

I’m tipping Forest Green to edge this, maybe courtesy of a wrongly awarded penalty from the ever clueless Mr Coggins. I actually like veggie nosh and would hope to make TNL one day and sample the fare. Not the fixture computer at it’s prime making this a midweek game though.

We can't ply as bad again tonight, please. It was like being back in the conference on Saturday.

Cooper screwed-up spectactulary. It's his pride at stake tonight so I expect a re-action.

1-1 then!

We definitely look like the team who's most recently been non-league. Harris chasing shadows in an ineffective midfield, FGR certainly worth their lead. Not much happening for us.

Speak for yourself. My experiences haven't been so positive so I won't join in the love-in. Not that I have anything against the club. As for Norwood..
Racist scummer.

Sounds horrifically one-sided, Banks a big absentee for Rovers and not the options on the bench to turn it around.

That's all very negative considering you're 2-0 up. Love you too!

That felt very very much like a non-league football game. No skill on show, no flow, no time on the ball, gamesmanship and time wasting, and a fussy ref. Neither side impressed really but FGR won it in the first half, when we were shite. Second half was more evenly shite.

Cooper is effective for FGR, but boy is the football painful to watch in my limited experience.

We were awful for the first half, deserved result. No real positives from that, topped off with FGR managing to completely kill any atmosphere by putting away fans in the open on the side. Tells you all you need to know about the club, just glad it didn't rain.
