Will JET smash them a new one, or will our 12 fingered, piggy eyed, cousin-bothering friends get lucky and score off Luke Norris's arse in the last minute?

Who knows, but it's going to be my first game of the season.

Come on you Gills.

Think Norris is injured.

Dack and Ehmer could be back in for this. Would expect a couple of changes from saturday to keep it fresh, maybe a start for Joe Quigley or Jamie O'Hara. Pask had a great game on saturday by all accounts so Max might have to settle for the bench.

Nelson
Jackson - Deji - Pask - Konchesky
Wright
Osadebe - O'Hara
Knott
JET - Quigley

Hadler, Ehmer, Byrne, Hess, McDonald, Donnelly, Dack on the bench.

3-1 win.

Norris and Obika both injured. You won't come up against more of a soft touch as an attacking unit all season.

I'd go for:

Vigs

Furlong-Thompson-Sendles White-BOO

Goddard-Kasim-Thomas-Doughty-Brophy

Stewart

3-0.

Still no Wagstaff, Morris, Garmston or Dack, so it is not a banker home win.
I hate this optimism.
A couple of weeks ago our mob were all predicting a season of struggle. Can we get back to that please.

No!

Obika and Norris injured, Jones and Branco injured has really spread our already thin squad thinner. One bright spark is Jordan Stewart has found his mojo, I hope he starts tomorrow night. He's a midget but a bloody tricky midget.

Concur with my digit-enhanced friends. Nothing but a resounding Gills win.

I, too, would love the Irish Messi to start.

According to Edinburgh, dack is pushing to be fit for this one

Yeah I saw that but I would be very surprised if he started him tonight.
The midfield of Paddy, Knott, Wright and Byrne did OK on Saturday so need to rush him back.
Leave him on the bench and use him if required.

Norris had several ankle issue with us last season. Was the main reason he keep losing his place in the team.

Great bet tonight. Get on Gills at 11/2 to win minus 2 goals.

Anything not nailed down should be placed on a home win. Just seen the team and it's even worse than expected.

Central midfielder playing centre half, four wing backs and no striker.

No Kasim either which was unexpected.

3 games in and our squad looks obliterated.

Well as big bird said prior to the game we are extremely short on numbers with key players out Injured meaning square pegs in round holes already this early in the season.

God only knows how we got a point from that. Very happy tonight, sounds like we are at least fighting for each other despite the adversity.

And a fucking red card which means a suspension and another first team member missing for Saturday.

Difficult to break down a side that had no intention of crossing the halfway line for most of the game. Donnelly took his goal very well, O'Hara looked the business and Byrne was my MOM.

Looked a little short of spark really, which is pretty disappointing.

We had no CBs, no strikers and our main midfielder was out - what do you expect?

Frustrating I know but we are so short at the moment we are having to adopt negative tactics. It nearly worked perfectly but I'm very happy with a point against a very good Gills side.

All the best for the rest of the season gills.

We signed a replacement for Dickenson in Martin, who is now out for the season. I suspect we would take Brennan back tomorrow if we could. I'm sure all Gills fans wish him well, as he did well for us and appeared to be a nice guy.

Despite Swindon missing players last night they still had the ability to pass the ball out of defense, which prevented us from keeping them under sustained pressure. I think they only gave the ball away once at the back the whole game.

Knott and JET give us extra skill and flair but not work rate. We really missed Dack last night, as he is so good at pressing defenders into errors. Quigley being crocked also has lost us the plan B against a defense sitting deep.

Seen many ugly performances from away sides at The County Ground who have managed to grind out a draw so frankly I'm delighted we have that in our locker.

You going Saturday valefan?

Weirdly looking forward to it! Hopefully we'll have 2 new signings in place.

No suit shopping for my wedding!

Hoping we have a couple more in the door!
