So the first of our two games in Devon this week takes place at the real St James's Park. I can't remember us ever beating Exeter actually - we lost at home to them earlier this season, and at Wembley 7 years ago and I'm pretty sure we didn't record a win in either league game that season either. So obviously it'd be nice to change that.
We're coming off the back of a draw and three defeats and haven't won since beating Newport what seems like months ago. McGeehan has gone which is definitely a good thing as he's clearly not one of us, and we're still a player or two down in midfield (Dunk and Hughes). On the plus side, Geraoid Morrissey's debut against Wycombe was promising and our new striker, Slew, got some useful minutes in his quest to gain sharpness so we should continue to improve.
I was impressed with Exeter when we played them at home (though we were also dire) and I know they are still chasing a play off spot. So I'm expecting us to be in for it tonight. I'd be happy with a draw, just to continue to keep us clear of the dreaded drop.
