Looking forward to this one. We should see a decent crowd being a local derby of sorts. I assume Yeovil will sell their allocation?

It's fitting that the game marks 5 years since Adam Stansfield passed away, so both sets of fans will be sure to sing his name throuout.

As for the game, we will most likely concede as we can't defend but I have faith in our midfield and attack so I can see a 2-2 draw. Nichols and Harley for us, Jeffers and Fogden for them. 5,845 the crowd.

As for Yeovil, I am sure Sturrock will get them solid and competitive but with 15 new players it's hard to call just how well they will do.

Nichols making an early start for his golden boot challenge. Hoskins scoring on his debut.

We still sound a bit suspect in midfield and defence though probs.

Great win but boy we make it hard for ourselves.

Hoskins off the mark already is a bonus and Nichols looks like he will bag plenty this season.

Both Olejnik and Brown were superb on their debuts. Noble, Wheeler and Ribeiro were also superb.

Yeovil looked poor, especially in the first half and their 8ft centre half was a complete donkey. To be fair the penalty was superbly taken.

I doubt I will see a worse player this season than Yeovil's number 5. He was seriously poor.

I don't think we were that good today. Certainly room for improvement but an okay start. The penalty was correct and it was well finished by Nichols. The second was a great ball by Noble and Wheeler finished well. We didn't come out second half and Yeovil equalised through our typical slack defending. More poor defending led to another penalty, this time for Yeovil. Definite penalty and really well placed into the corner. They looked like they would nick the winner but on came legend Clinton Morrison who changed the atmosphere and game. A lay off to Oakley and an equally nice ball over the top for Hoskins who knocked it over the keeper. Full time 3-2. My man of the match would go to Wheeler with Noble a close second.

A great tribute to Stansfield today. The flag, the chants, the applause. Everything about his day was great.

Onto Swindon on Tuesday!

Really, Stephen Arthurworrey? On loan from Fulham, played for us last year and was one of the very few plusses in a very poor season. So much so that we went back and signed him on a season-long loan. I couldn't make it to the game today but i'm very surprised if he really was that bad.

He looked like bambi on ice and kept slicing the ball in to touch under no pressure whatsoever. Nichols gave him the runaround all afternoon.
He did nearly score with an overhead kick though but he may just have slipped, I can't be sure.
