This game can’t come quick enough after the Lincoln defeat and we need to bounce back with a good performance. We’ve not scored in four which is concerning so the players have something to prove.

Hopefully Jonathan Forte will be back against his old club and he make such a difference to how we want to play.

County have surprised many by having a bad start and Kewell coming in may go against us as you’d expect him to get a quick improvement. Pretty sure they will move up the table with some of the players on County’s books so we can’t take them lightly.

I feel a 1-1 draw could be likely. Forte for us (obviously) and Dennis for County.

A team who are struggling for goals vs a side who've conceded 3 goals in 5 consecutive league games.

Not sure this one will tell anyone much about Exeter's attack or County's defence.

Paul Hart appointed DoF and hopefully a couple more players in before Friday, one I hope is a goalkeeper.
If this the case I would be happy with a point here just to get the ball rolling again.

We badly need a keeper before this - poor old Fitzsimmons’ confidence is shot to bits with another error last night. On the plus side Elliott Ward sounded pretty assured on his debut and marshalled the defence well, and Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain performed well at RB, so Elliott Hewitt won’t have to play there (which had been a bit disastrous) and he can return to CM, where he has been missed.

If this had been last Saturday I’d have feared a cricket score: But if Forte is missing I’m going to go for an optimistic 1-1 (assuming we have new keeper) If he plays, 2-1 Grecians, Forte with a late winner

Hoping to concede just two in this one. Or if we are fortunate or Kewell can work wonders just the one.

Fear it will come too early , and as mentioned if your defence is porous and goalkeeper is in poor form it doesn’t bode well

We’ll get there eventually I’m sure . Exciting times

I don't know where our goals are going to come from. It's not the lack of goals but the lack of chances.

I can see us losing this 1-0

Kewell at least seemed to have us vaguely in the shape of a football team on Tuesday, which is a step forward. Loads of things that will take longer to solve, though - the goalkeeper, the composition of midfield, looking like we’re going to concede from every corner, the fact we seem to have done no fitness work in the summer at all and look shagged after an hour of every game.

It’s a concern but tbf, the last two league games were against two teams that you’d expect to be top 5. We were below par in both games but we saw enough in the first 4 league games to suggest we will score a decent amount this season.

Taylor just needs to have he luxury of a settled starting lineup for a month or two and we will be fine I’m sure. If Forte is back he will make a huge difference.

Still hurts somewhat that Super Jonny Forte will be playing against us on Saturday, particularly if he sticks one past that clown who is somehow still in goal for us. Forte was treated abysmally by Nolan last season, and mistakenly let go in the summer.

I think Kewell will turn the season round, but a tough trip to Exeter isn’t the place to start, especially after they got battered at home last week. At least 3-1 to the home side.

Taylor said today that Forte has trained this week but he’s going to be cautious with regards to throwing him in too soon. He will most likely be on the bench I’d imagine.

Our confidence is so low we would need to go two up to get a point the way we're performing.
Not the place you'd want to go in the shape we're in.

Always get nervous when the opponents get a new manager, but we need to pull our finger out and start winning again. We are much better than the last 3 results (yes, really), and I will be happy with 5-0, but will grudgingly accept 3-0

He did his hammy a couple of times at our place so hopefully won’t be risked... ;)

Not at the game but from the commentary it sounds like we took advantage of Notts’ poor defence. Apparently Sweeney was unmarked for his goal...

Shame we couldn’t see it out to HT at 2-0 but their goal sounded a cracker.

It’s going to be an open second half I imagine and could easily end up with at least 3 more goals.

Must realise the shit he’s been doped into. A a manager with little experience. 5–1 Down. Oh dear. Wonder what Fatman hardy is wondering with all those excessive losses.

Interesting that Crawley won at Lincoln after getting rid.

Turns out that Richard Duffy wasn't the only thing making our defence shit, who knew? Doesn't matter which previously solid and consistent, experienced players we stick in a back three, four or five, the goalkeeper and midfield is an absolute shit tip so we're going to keep getting battered. Hopefully Kewell can work this out quicker than our fans have.

Great win and a perfect way to bounce back after last weekend. 5 goals, shame Sweeney missed the penalty for his hat trick but just being greedy now. Just shows the potential we have and when we get on the ball we can be very good.

Notts sound in a state though. Kewell is really on a hiding to nothing as he’s got to work with the current squad which is obviously so low on confidence. Can’t see them going down but one point from seven games is worrying.

No new manager bounce here.

“Typical Notts” is an overused cliche but going from Title favourites to 6 defeats out of 7 and getting humped every week is er typical Notts.

£10 wasted on that, poor sods who travelled down deserve better than that.
We've now conceded 3,4,3,3,3,5 in the league in successive matches.
Starting Boudwijn and Thomas was reckless, Dennis and Hemmings haven't for a moment looked like a strike partnership.
So much wrong . Well done Exeter but don't kid yourselves that you were great, we really are as bad as I've ever seen us, and wouldn't fare well in the Conference North playing like rhat.

It's only one game but I still reckon you just needed a experienced manager who is a complete bastard to get these players to put some effort in.

The whole club from the players, to chairman are clueless - it's a incredibly hard to believe turnaround.

This is going to end badly...

Kewell could be gone by Christmas if this carries on
