With our postponed game this week, hopefully we will have been able to nurse some players who picked up knocks last weekend to ensure they play this week. Mansfield had a great result vs Newport on Tuesday and they’ve been on decent form for some time now, despite drawing quite a few.

Think it will be quite tight and will probably be decided by the odd goal. We have lots of games in hand but we need to get points on the board so I am hoping for a win, although it will be very tough.

Going to plump for a 2-1 win for us, Stockley and Harley with our goals. Danny Rose for Mansfield.

Looking forward to this one. Until last season I’d never seen us draw/lose at Exeter so I’d take a repeat of that. Thankfully the Newport game never really became a battle and it was played like a training session for 75 minutes so it shouldn’t of taken too much out of us.

I’m going 1-1. King with our goal.

Only about 200 making the trip I think. Bit of a hike though ain't it?

Earlier this season we a real big shame, should have won the game at a canter but failed to take the chances.

Exeters a bloody lovely place, again im thwarted attending as in London for the weekend, there's a few going down for a few days.

We've a decent record down there so hopefully we can keep this up, would be happy with a draw though.

Must not lose rather than a must win in my opinion. Although fully believe that a win is doable.

ECFC 2-1 MTFC
Stockley - Potter
Taylor

As ever, no idea what to expect with us. Hope the week off has done us some good. Hope that we have a better link between our midfield and Stockley. Hope our full backs can stop Mansfield running freely down the wings.
Hope. Just hope.

If you can stop us attacking you at the wings you'll be a good shout to beat us, we're very potent there and don't frequently play through the middle of the park. CJ Hamilton is a world beater one day and a disaster the next (though he's improved recently).

Exeter are a good side, and we'll need to respect how you play to come away with anything

CJ Hamilton has not been a disaster all season, he’s one of our form players and is getting better game.

I’d take a point now, our main downfall is missing chances, it should of been 10 on Tuesday not 5.

Just seen the pitch - Jesus wept thought Exeter usually had a good playing surface.

Yep. We couldn't do any maintenance for the pitch in the Summer due to the redevelopment of the ground so it's in a pretty bad way and there isn't much we can do about it.

We had the same problem there last Saturday, prepare to watch the ball bobble a lot plus one of our defenders had to be substituted after he twisted his foot in the mud.

As someone mentioned earlier, for us it's all about taking/missing chances. We almost always make loads of chances but I just can't see it being anything like the Newport thrashing on Tuesday. Tight 1-1 for me.

Always beware of Exeter

They'll scam something, they always do

Great to have a lead at half time though

I’m worried about a repeat of the reverse fixture and not collecting the three points we deserve.

Maybe it's the difference from back then

Let's hope so

I think that's the difference between us now and in November. Held on rather than conceding late on.

Great recovery after the Swindon loss

Wasn't there but sounded quite a comfortable win overall. Should have been more than one apparently.

No complaints. Well beaten. Mansfield went deep in the second half and I don't recall a shot on target for us.
We are simply not promotion material at the moment.

Should be the double on Exeter really.

Exeter are a top team though, they will be up there, that pitch not help though, typically you lot like to play it from recent memory.

Just saw the highlights, nice touch from danny for the goal.

The 2 dives in the penalty area for Exeter were quite funny, though the ref really should have booked them.

It would have been a travesty had we gotten anything from that game. Fair play to Mansfield they were worthy winners and they used the pitch far better than we did.

Just can’t get my head around why we play two tall strikers but have zero width and pace in the team to provide any service. I feel so sorry for Stockley having long balls hit up to him all game, so he’s only going to get any joy if Mansfield make a mistake, which they didn’t.

Tisdale was basically hoping we’d knick a goal and keep it tight, but as soon as Mansfield got ahead it was game over.

We have to improve very quickly now with games at Crewe and Grimsby and then home to Chesterfield.

One or two embarrassing dives from Exeter, pretty poor for the referee not to book em.

I hate how Referees hardly ever go back and book players for that sort of stuff.

Were you there? Mansfield players should have been booked for time wasting. Ref was clearly one of those who liked to keep his cards in his pocket.
You won yesterday but don't talk utter guff

Look at the highlights, blatant simulation trying to get a penalty.

I can’t comment on the time wasting, but try and look at it from a neutral point of view.

Don’t be a mard arse.
