Can't see a thread for this yet, expect Henderson to keep his place in goal and probably unchanged elsewhere too.
Hope we win but can see a draw here so that would be 4 points from 2 home games which with our poor home form I would've taken beforehand.

Expect a good home win today: we haven't clicked yet under the new manager (apart from Plymouth away maybe): so hopefully it will this afternoon. Goals from open play not coming from Bogle on Boxing Day should give confidence to the rest of the team too. Another clean sheet would be nice, so 3-0 is my prediction. Blackpool fans seem to have given up going to away games as well as home ones: pity as only 108 away fans turned up on the 26th Dec, hope there are 200 plus for this one.

We seem to have exchanged the neat ineffectiveness plus Bogle tactics of Paul Hurst for a sort of blancmange-like formation - a 5 man defensive container holding a totally shapeless thing ahead of it. The ball seems to go mainly to where our blancmange has wobbled away from. Still, Deano in goal and the back 4 look quite sound as the container...

Happy with a point today, the longer it went on the more I was expecting Blackpool to nick it 1 - 0, not because they were particularly threatening or anything I just sensed we were gonna lose it.

For 60 minutes I thought we played well, we won the majority of the battles and had control of the game. We were very organised but we offered very little going forward. Most of our attacks came from giving Vose the ball, something we rarely did. It was also like playing with 10 men because Jackson contributed absolutely nothing for his entire time on the pitch. For the last third of the game we ran out of ideas and the game turned to shit.

I thought we generally played better than Blackpool who were completely bog standard but they did create the better chances in the end. Disappointing to draw but on another we'd have lost so can't be too upset.

I've got to say I was a bit disappointed with Grimsby yesterday, did they have a clear chance at all? Blackpool did what they always do on the road - sit back and wait to capitalise on mistakes on the counter, but it was proving pretty effective at times because Grimsby seemed quite content to give the ball away! It's all well and good having the ball, but if you can't do anything with it then there's no point. Vose seemed the only threat but even then, he only had a 10/15 minute in the second half.

Bogle didn't do a great deal but he's just so strong and clearly should be playing a level or two above. Dean Henderson getting MOTM probably says it all, but he's clearly too good for L2. McKeown should have been dropped much earlier.

I really don't know what the point of Jackson is...

In some ways a strange performance, because, apart from Jackson, everyone individually did ok. I think that's a bit worrying because as a team they clearly lacked cohesion. Still, we gave Paul Hurst about 4 feckin years to get us out of the Conference...let's see what MB does after the Jan window when at least he will have a couple of his own signings on board. I have to say that after half a season I would have been happy with mid-table but, with hindsight, the players we've brought in are worse than Toto, Amond and Arnold in the respective positions - Boyce, Jackson and Bolinwara / Chambers. And feck knows what is going on with Rhys Browne.

I think we looked massively improved on our recent performances so that was a positive, like I said we were organised but maybe a little too much, our shape looked quite rigid as I expected the 3 behind Bogle to be swapping and changing between each other, especially Vose. Bogle was very isolated with little support, largely because of Jackson being so ineffective in the hole so he basically on his own against an entire backline as the wingers sat deeper than you'd expect.

You can start to see what Bignot is trying to build and it is taking shape, once he gets the players in to suit his style then we can really start to judge him. We can only hope he gets the time that Hurst got.

4 years to get out of the division in the right direction, would we be happy with that? I guess if that involved 4 play-off appearances we would be...

If that's how long it takes then yes.
If someone offered us that this time last season when we were struggling in non league would we have taken it? Too damn right we would!

Can't argue with that - a year ago we were failing to beat Guiseley...

Unbeaten in two and mid - table at the halfway stage, looking up rather than looking down. Happy with that to be honest.
