We ain't creating enough but are looking quite solid and organised so it's probably another low scoring game unless we can do something from set pieces.

That graph on here this week puts us as the least likely team in the division expected goals wise so our games are far from thrillers.

Need a win here after the home loss last week. Could do with Baxter getting up to speed pronto as I think we might be a little dependent on him this year

1-0 latics

We have the uncanny knack of losing to a team that has just had a bad result so think we will lose this one 2-1

Oldham should be shitting themselves for this as we are dynamite at home.

5-0 or 6-0 to Grimsby I reckon.

Just praying that there’s 2 teams shitter than us come May.

Starting to feel immune to every defeat now because I’m expecting it every week.

Supporting GTFC really is fucking shite.

Not the result I expected. We are not a BAD team by a long shot. We have the talent but don’t seem to have the clinical edge in front of goal and our defence are clumsy.

Like Lew, I’ve accepted that until Fenty goes, we’re doomed to struggle. It was alright under Hurst because he was stubborn enough to rise above it but even he couldn’t take it any longer. We’ve signed alright players but we’re shocking at both ends of the pitch. Thank fuck I’m off to uni next week.

The defence is appalling. I cannot get over how piss poor they been for the majority of this season. So many stupid errors. The way our heads drop when we go 1-0 down is infuriating and what happens when we go 2-0 down is shambolic. At 2-0 with a quarter of the match to play there should be at least a semblance of hope that we can scavenge a point. When that 2nd one hits the net today, the 3rd is so inevitable that we may as well just pass the ball back and smash it past McKeown ourselves and let everyone piss off back home or switch their commentary off as at least that way we'd get 20 or so minutes of our lives back.

We edged the first half but Oldham edged the second. You could say 3-0 was flattering in terms of both performances overall but considering how dreadfully defended all goals were, we deserved nothing less.

Ignoring the goals we played okay, as did Oldham. If it had been a draw, it wouldn't have been a ridiculous result. We are just having far too many moments of madness, to the point where we've realised we are just dreadfully shit at the back. The pressure on the forwards to get us points until January is massive now, especially when they're already taking their time to gel.

How's Pringles doing for you guys?

He came with a massive reputation to us in January and he might as well as not been on the pitch. Utterly useless. Although it was a step above a start from the bench today says your lot ain't impressed either

He hasn’t been fit enough to play yet, today we’re his first minutes on the pitch.

Now I’ve calmed down a bit, I agree with Clarkey that we definitely edged the first half and Oldham won the second. The galling thing is, we had enough chances to win, AGAIN. I thought 3-0 was slightly flattering to Oldham but the main difference between the sides was Surridge. He wasn’t particularly quick but he showed that Danny Collins has probably had it now, he sent him home for the first goal. Then it’s deja vu all over again. I’d be fine with us not scoring if we could just keep it tight at the back; that’s a long way off. We need our proper fullbacks fit and to start putting away our chances.

Macc, Morecambe and County are at least giving Jolley 2 extra games on his job.

Feel for you mate. That's ineptness of the highest order. If it were me i'd demand my train fare back from my club as it was they who posted the incorrect information on their website or i'd take it further. At the very least they could offer you a free ticket or two to future games instead of reimbursing you actual money for the train fare.

It may or not be the fault of GTFC but Oldham are responsible for the accuracy of what they put on their website and if they put up incorrect information that caused you hardship they should be accountable.

Then again i am like a dog with a bone if someone is at fault and it effects me in any way and i'll even got to court for something minor like that if possible but just try writing a few letters and demand some recompense.

We're supposedly monitoring him for a permanent bid in January.
Yeah I've seen that over the weekend. Not sure he's ready for the Championship just yet, would be interesting to see what Bournemouth would accept. As we have him on loan for the season, I'll assume they've put a recall clause in there given that you're (apparently) looking to buy him in January.

TBH though, he's a bit Doyle-like so not sure why you'd want him.

Young with the potential to be less shit I imagine, seems to be much more physical than Doyle too which isn't exactly difficult.
