Its fair to say Newport haven't had a very good start to the season so it's not unfair to say we're favourites. I'm not too confident however, as we've been inconsistent so far this season.

Bogle should hopefully continue his great form, though I'd like to see one of our other players score, as I fear we're becoming slightly reliant on him.

I still expect Newport to score as our defence isn't there just yet.

3-1 to us.

What team will he go with? I think we have a fully fit squad. Does he give Jimmy Mac a rest? Henderson must have had a game time requirement in his loan agreement? I think Disley for Summerfield, Tuton for Jackson, possibly Bolinwara for Chambers, These three have done ok but those 3 changes will give us more firepower against a potentially weaker opponent. Our home form has been very patchy, the fans have been quiet save the first game, we need the drummer in the Pontoon and to get the noise levels we had at Notts and Mansfield into Blundell Park...

Why on earth would you start to change things after such a good start?

This is Paul Hurst, he'll put Bogle on the bench.

Do you think we've played well in the last two games? Putting Tuton in is only going back to what we had at Notts and Luton. Chambers has done ok but Bolinwara gave us some extra impetus when he came on v Crewe. Dis is due a run out.
Hurst was furious with Bogle for giving he ball away in our half in injury time at Mansfield - so Godsgift's quip may not be too far wide of the mark - Tuton and Vernon to start...!

We've had a strong start, a settled side is key to that. Have people not learnt from previous poor starts or something? We're ahead of where we expected to be and this has been a big part of that.

Anyway we've gone unchanged.

I note the pen was won by Bolinwara who had replaced Chambers, I also note that Tuton was on for Jackson at that time. 2 out of 3 proposed changes wins £5 I believe which I hereby claim from Pontoonlew (who no doubt claim that Chambers and Jackson's hard graft had tired the opposition...)

In which case they affected the game well from the bench, meaning the selection from the start worked well?

And you thereby claim your £5 back...

Rhys Browne - is our secret weapon - better than either Chambers or Bolinwara...

What an absolute waste of good air Jon Parkin is. He looked knackered after 10 minutes and everything he touched turned to utter shit. Then when it didn't go his way he decided to take it out on our players, which might I add is not the first time as he nearly ended Gowling's career at Wembley not too long ago. Shit player, shit bloke.

Comley was unreal tonight as were both centre halves. Vose and Andrew also good. We deserved the win and that's usually one we don't get. Very happy.

Didn't think that was going to come last night but thankfully it did and I think we deserved the 3 points. My first look at the new lads and I was very impressed with Comley, just seems to have that little bit extra about him and Collins was superb at the back too. Not a brilliant game really and if BBC Radio Wales reckon that was Newport's best performance this season then I'm seriously worried for them, Ref didn't really give us much all night, missed more than one handball but did give us the penalty at the end so I'll let him off.

Now time to show Toto and Podge the mistake they made at the end of last season on Saturday.
