Season rating? - 10/10, Don't think any Wolves fan would have predicted things to go this well for us so far, long way to go though.

Highlight so far? -
Even though we lost on penalties, holding Man City to a 0-0 for 120 minutes with largely our reserve squad in the Cup. A feat nobody else has a achieved so far.

Lowlight so far? - Very hard to pick any lowlight, but probably the 2-0 defeat to Sheff Utd away. A game we never looked likely to get anything from.

Predicted finish? -
1st, barring a Derby esc collapse I can't see us losing much ground.

Player you would like to sign in Jan? -
Jurgen Locadia from PSV, a striker we tried to sign on deadline day in the summer. Also a right back to challenge Matt Doherty.

Yeah RWB and Striker. Bonatini is a kinda one touch, on the deck pivot man rather than a target man (if that makes sense). However I'd be interested in us getting a quicker more mobile striker so we can change up what we do a tad. Nuno does this with Cav when he pkays him centrally, and it works fairly well even thought Cavelro clearly isn't an out and out striker.

Agree with everything else you say, although my highlight is probably the Villa game as that was when I truly started to believe we were the genuine article.

Season rating? 7.5/10 - Started brilliantly but credit to everyone for turning around a horrible blip. Definitely would have taken this position at Christmas before the start of the season.
Highlight so far? Beating Boro to stop the rot was huge but the 3-0 at Bristol City a highlight too.
Lowlight so far? Some very grim games in that run - managing to get dicked by Wednesday was quite a special achievement.
Predicted finish? That horrible danger zone as usual - 7th.
Player you would like to sign in Jan? Lasse Vibe

Season rating?
6/10, though if it was on the last 16 games only, it would be more like 8/10 or 9/10.
Horrible start to the season, to recover like we have and get back into a place where we could make a run for the play offs is a brilliant achievement, especially with half of our first XI still out with injury. Half this forum had us dead and buried 11 games in.

Highlight so far?
Tough one, beating Birmingham was nice after all the noise from them after getting Dean, Jota and Colin on deadline day.

Lowlight so far?

QPR Away, 3 points should have been in the bag, to concede the two goals we did was embarrassing. Symbolises the struggles we’ve had this season, mistakes at the back and insanely bad luck making us concede far more often than we should.

Predicted finish?

Transfer windows are dangerous for us as we have to sell players to survive. I do think we are much less reliant on a single player than we have been, and we shouldn’t need to sell having brought in £12m+ in the summer, but a big money bid could easily see Woods leave, and Vibe would go for a couple of million being out of contract in the summer.
If we hold onto the squad, and get a couple of players back from injury, we could sneak into the playoffs. If not, mid-table and we’ll go again next year (hopefully without the terrible start).

Player you would like to sign in Jan?

Marcondes is coming in anyway, and looks an amazing player, but will definitely take time to get settled in England.

Other than that, hopefully not losing anyone, and making sure we replace them if we do, can’t afford to lose a defender or forward right now.

Season rating? - 9/10 including the cup run. Been great so far, last away loss in all competitions 5 months ago, beating Man United in the 93rd minute at home, lots of late goals. It's been fun.
Highlight so far? - United at home it has to be, don't think anything will ever come close to that unless we get promoted at Wembley in a similar fashion to the one QPR did.
Lowlight so far? - Losing 3-0 to fucking Leeds, most predictable result of the season as it happens every single year.
Predicted finish? - I've no idea, depends what happens in January. 10th or something.
Player you would like to sign in Jan? - Hugill would be alright I suppose. Jackson Irvine as his Hull move hasn't quite worked out. Ryan Woods if not.

7.5/10. I expected us to struggle badly, given we barely made it over the line last season, but the signings have been excellent and Harris and Livermore have worked hard behind the scenes to make us so much more exciting to watch.

Highlight so far?

The Leeds and Norwich victories were pretty big, because they proved that we could do anyone who came to the Den.

Lowlight so far?

Losing at home to Burton and Barnsley.

Predicted finish?

14th

Season rating. 9/10, a minor blip recently I believe I'm seeing enough that things will turn around very shortly.

Highlight so far. September 24th 2017, probably the highlight of all my football watching to be fair.

Low so far. Coutts breaking his leg away at Burton

Predicted finish. 5th, lose to Boro in the playoff final 1-0.

Player to sign. I'd love a top goalkeeper and another top class centre mid is needed.

7/10. Some people were worried we could collapse after losing Grayson's 'stability' but if anything we've improved. If it wasn't for our November injury crisis then it would be an 8/10 as i've no doubt we would be sat in the top 6 right now.

Highlight so far?

The 3-0 battering of Cardiff was very entertaining, one of the best home performances in years.

Lowlight so far?

Losing 2-0 to Villa at home was frustrating as that was purely down to the defence we had to field, it was so disjointed and it meant Ben Pearson was sat on the edge of our box all game helping out Boyle and Woods. Easiest 3pts Villa will have all season.

Predicted finish?

6th, fuck it, why not, Wolves are the only impressive team this year.

Player you would like to sign in Jan?

Bring back McGeady on loan, he's warming Sunderland's bench at the minute.

9.5/10 - Would be 10 if we'd been in the automatics.

Highlight so far?

Utd overall, Cardiff win or Wolves away draw in league.

Lowlight so far?

Brum or Preston losses.

Predicted finish?
7th missing out on play offs by goal difference (got to keep the negative City vibe right).

Player you would like to sign in Jan?

8.5 - We've done alright. We've figured out Rowett's plan, which is incredibly different to McClaren's, but we seem to be doing well. It's like we give away possession, but still control games. Useful in the prem? maybe. We'll be up there.

Highlight so far?
Always beating Forest.

Lowlight so far?
Bristol City away. Although, it's probably been the kick we need,

Predicted finish?
I'm going to be optimistic. 2nd.

Player you would like to sign in Jan?

Bryson back. We need legs in CM at times.

Season rating- 4/10, massively underachieved, ridicolous injuries list again, Carlos sacked and some disgruntled fans.

Highlight so far- Been a rough season but the highlight is probably beating Leeds 3-0.

Lowlight so far- Getting beat by our arch rivals at Hillsborough, or the defeat at Bolton giving them their first win of the season after they'd not scored for about 7 games.

Predicted Finish- 11th

Player I'd like to sign in January- A winger with pace who can beat a man would be a good start. Sako from Palace please.

Season rating? 4/10. After finishing last season only two penalties away from the Prem, and then going on to spend the most money in our history (and amongst the highest in the league) to be out of the play-off picture halfway gone is terrible. I wasn't expecting us to make the play-offs necessarily as the league is stronger this season, but to be 15th is below any of my early predictions.

Highlight so far? Probably winning 4-2 at Derby. Alongside the 2-1 win at home to Villa in August easily the best we've looked under Stam. Fast paced attacking football with control of the possession. If we could play like even half of the time we would be top 6 no problem.

Lowlight so far? Has to be losing 2-1 at home to Burton. All the build up to the game, cheap tickets to help provide a sold out home end and by far the worst performance seen at a home game in several years. Don't even want to imagine the scoreline had we played a half decent team.

Predicted finish? 13th. Despite how poor we are, there are a lot of poor teams in this division. We're playing bad football and are still ahead of most of them.

Player you would like to sign in Jan? For about the tenth transfer window in a row - a decent striker. Despite now seemingly not having the funds to buy one despite waving around £8m bids for Hugill and Oliveira at the end of August..

Season rating?

9/10 We were so impressive last season that I was also confident we’d do well this season but not this well.
Most of our wins have been deserved and we’ve consistly played well providing entertaining positive football.

Highlight so far?

Easily the historic deserved 4-2 away win at Hillsboro. It was a water shed moment because from that moment Wednesday fans have lost their swagger in the city. Even now our win seems to be affecting them, they’ve lost their confidence and are still hurting.

Lowlight so far?

Even though we beat Burton 2-1 away the Paul Coutts leg break made that result feel like a heavy defeat. He was one of our most influential players and is now out for the season.

Lowlight- Performance wise
Worse performance has been the recent 0-1 away defeat to Preston but we did have loads of injuries and just seemed to enter the match on damage limitation playing for a 0-0 draw (which is very un Wilder like).

Lowlight- Result wise
We actually put in a good performance at home to Bristol City. Went down to 10 men but we were still being positive going for the win. However the positivity backfired because we conceded an injury time winner. Although our fans were gutted we appreciated the effort meaning the players were clapped off the pitch at the end.

Predicted finish?

Even during our recent bad run we’ve still generally played quite well and could have won a few of them. So still reasons to be optimistic.
So i’ll go for 6th place and a scramble into the playoffs. Anything top half is a good season though and I’d be satisfied.

Player you would like to sign in Jan?

It’s tricky because it’s not about the individual talent but how that player will slot into the team doing their assigned job.
Also Wilder seems to have this knack of buying fairly unknown lower league players and quite quickly they start to look surprisingly good.
So i’ll trust in Wilder as his record on signings has been really good so far.

8/10 - Exceeding what I thought was possible this season. Still not sure whether to believe it will last though, what with our tendency to implode.
Highlight so far?
Beating Forest 2-0 obviously.
Lowlight so far?
Bristol City away or Reading at home. Both terrible.
Predicted finish?
8th because Derby
Player you would like to sign in Jan?
Nobody really. Think it upsets the apple cart too much, and our strength in depth means we don’t need o do anything. Get rid of those who can’t even make the squad like Anya, Shackell, and maybe even Bent, and all is good.

Highlight so far? We started the season well and Loftus Road finally started to look like it might become a place where other teams don't fancy to come to. Beat the likes of Hull, Reading early doors while having decent draws away from home against Shef Wed and played well in games we drew or lost. Back to back wins over Villa and Wolves showed another upturn.

The last 3 minutes of the Brentford game were great. We played shit, deserved to lose and stole it from those smug Brentford fans in the ground.

Lowlight so far?
No wins away from home in 18. 3 shots in 4 games. 1 point from 18 home and away. We have had some terrible runs where we cannot get anything right. The football hasn't been great at time. Getting stuffed 4-0 at Forest without a shot on target wasn't great.

Predicted finish? About 18th

Player you would like to sign in Jan? I want to get Eze back from Wycombe. He is doing great over there and our strikers are terrible so we may as well give the youth a chance. We have no money to sign players.

We absolutely battered Crawley in the cup, HAHA they’re so fucking shit, I’d hate to support a shit team like Crawley (haha).

Lowlight so far?
Being edged out 6-1 by Hull in a tight crucial six pointer, as Cotterill pointed out post match if they hadn’t have got their six goals we’d have won that 1-0 (lucky fuckers)

Predicted finish?
Is it still possible to make the play offs?

Player you would like to sign in Jan
Players aren’t important, it’s absolutely crucial we get Steve Cotterill tied down on a long term deal.

Bent is fit again now. I think before his injury he was in Rowett’s plans, but he’s not getting anywhere near our team now so I imagine we’ll try and loan him out. Burton a possibility by the sounds of it.

3/10 - given 2 play offs campaigns and no real stand out favourites in the league this season most would have expected us to have a go at the top 2. The football has been poor, Carvahal sacked, for me about 12 months too late and we find ourselves 16th with virtually our entire first team injured and a team that looks terribly unfit. Mangerial appointment will be key in where we go in the 2nd half of the season.

Highlight so far?

There have been very few but I’ll have to go with beating Leeds 3-0, should have been 6.

Lowlight so far?

Sheffield Derby

Predicted finish?

10th

Somebody, anybody with abit of pace and a decent centre half, the 2 things we needed after that play off final defeat to hull and neither have been addressed.
