For all the people who like or refer my clubs bigger than yours -- Looking at this table . I would certainly say this is spot on.

I think the most saddening part of this is that it clearly demonstrates that a lot of clubs in L1 and L2 today have a lot of potential within them to get gates of their all-time average size again. But the rise of elitism, glory-hunting and the cost of football itself has probably damaged any potential increase to those clubs fanbase, and indeed, has caused a drop in some areas.

What I find mad about us though is that our average attendance this season is just 4 fans above our all time average attendance. I doubt anyone else will get as close as that!

Not bad, in the 50’s we actually averaged over 20,000 a couple of seasons, interestingly similar to Lincoln in that a title and FA Cup run (semis) saw us hold on to the fans for a while before falling away.

How is Salford City's all time average attendance 3,100. When I first went there they were getting about 100.

Because it's based on EFL attendances.

They are an ex-EFL side - IF they are on the list then every ex-EFL side should also be there...

Because they forgot to add "(7 months)" after "all time" for them

Easy to assume a third of Salford's total are away fans as well given many have taken over 1000 there this season!

Ours are down 700 which is a scary reflection of the trajectory we’re on

13th in League One and above Lincoln, Scunny and Bournemouth. In fact 13 of the clubs below our historical attendance total are actually above us league wise.

We are down a bit, those awful declining years before we went into non-league didn't help with numbers through the gates and we haven't really 'kicked in' since coming back either (compared to our friends at Lincoln), we really missed a trick there by not capitalizing on the 'feel good factor'.

That’s about right for us 5,500.

Interesting how the gap in attendance is higher now (obv not hard to understand why) than historically

I think Crawley's is pushed up a bit due to getting some big crowds when in league 1.

It's a niggle for me that if we get a big game (ie Norwich this season) we can fill our ground easily but week in week out we average 1800 home fans, or there abouts and we can't seem to increase it.
