Where's the bloody general football section?

I was gonna do a current counties XI thread but soon realised Yorkshire is in a bit of a state so went for this instead.

Anyway.

Barnsley XI.
GK -

DF - Brian Greenhoff - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Greenhoff
DF - Mick McCarthy - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mick_McCarthy
DF - Wilf Copping - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilf_Copping
DF - John Stones - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Stones
MF - Steve Daley - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Daley
MF - Neil Smillie - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neil_Smillie
MF - Antony Kay - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antony_Kay
MF - Ernie Hine - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernie_Hine
FW - David Hirst - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Hirst_(footballer)
FW - Tommy Taylor - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_Taylor

Reliable keeper, enviable defence, mediocre midfield and top class forwards. Comfortable mid-table top flight with occasional challenge for Europe I reckon.

Now you.

Great thread, Greg.

GK: Jack Prince (?)
DR: Shanaze Reade
DL: Junior Brown
DC: Mat Bailey
DC: Ian Butterworth
MC: Kevin Street
MC: Lee Bell
ML: Frank Blunstone
MR: Mark Rivers
FC: Rob Hulse
FC: Max Clayton

Subs: AJ Leitch-Smith, Caspar Hughes, Tony Gallimore, Adam Rickett (GK), Marvin Robinson, Beth Tweddle, Mark Cueto

Decent going forward but potentially suspect at the back. I reckon Reade will be a pretty good attacking right back but I think she might struggle against a very good left winger.

I didn't know we were including non-footballers, otherwise I would obviously have omitted Tommy Taylor in favour of Brian Glover up front.

I only included non-footballers because there's only about 10 footballers from Crewe and most of them are strikers...

Surely Glover would be in the Bobby Charlton role.

As a Londoner I'm confused as to what I should be including. Leytonstone where I was born (plus Curtis Davies, Andros Townsend, David Beckham), East London, north of the river, London as a whole? So many choices.
