France and Germany are two enjoyable teams to watch - I've always enjoyed watching the Germans actually. Apart from when they were drawn against England, of course.

They were dire in '90, though tbh, most teams were in that tournament. Went off the Germans after Muller and co letting Shane Long - Shane fucking Long!! - allow to beat them and hence give us no chance of qualifying for these Euro's. I've always had a soft spot for France as well though and the last two times a tournament has been held on French soil, they have went on to win it. A bit light up front this time if they are punting Benzema, but the rest of the side is very strong and they have a hell of a chance at it again.

I don't blame anyone for hating England and it's hyping media from our arrogant and stupidly named 'golden generation' years, but this is a new England era now and they appear to mostly be a decent bunch of lads with energy and enthusiasm.

I think it's funny how whenever Scotland and the other British Isles nations are in tournaments, most of us English will want them to do well, except for when we ever play against them of course!

So why you guys still bitter towards us? Even when we're not playing you?

Top the group, including convincingly beating Wales to put them in their place. Win the last 16 and then out in the quarters on penalties, again. Which, with our squad, would be perfectly decent.

Although, looking at the draw, that would mean likely facing the Group F winners, so Portugal, Austria, Iceland or Hungary. So actually, losing that once we'd got to that stage would be a bit disappointing. Semis it is then!
