Apparently, compulsory purchase orders have been issued to residents living in streets next to Gresty Road, now this has been up in the air for a while, but if this is the case then Crewe Alexandra Football Club will one day be looking for a new home.
I have always thought we should have moved and had a new stadium built that is a bit more even on all four sides, as opposed to our current top heavy situation, I think a 12-14000 stadium would do us nicely, not one of the airfix kit stadiums that seem to be the norm but maybe something that clubs in Europe have built, Holland, Norway and smaller German clubs.
However, all the above, if it does happen could still be clouded in controversy, as the 'director' the board are trying to buy out of Crewe Alexandra FC Ltd, would still be involved in Crewe Alexandra Stadium Ltd, the company set up that charges the CAFC rent on its own stadium. This buy out of a certain director obviously has not been fully explained.
Interesting times ahead....
