Does this warrant a thread? Wasn't sure where else to put this.

Elliot Whitehouse has suffered a serious knee injury and is potentially out for the season though. Gutted for him if it's as severe as that, but wishing him a speedy recovery.

That is bad luck for Whitehouse, it’s always worse when a new singing immediately suffers a bad injury. Hope he recovers quickly....

Currently we have a fully fit squad but players such as Troy Brown, Luke Croll and Lee Holmes often pick up injuries so just hope we can reduce that this season.

Rotten luck for Whitehouse and us. Bad enough signing a two-year deal and getting injured but it sounds like a serious one. It’s a shame for us as we’ve just had Sean McAllister as a sick note these last two seasons. Not good news, rumour or otherwise.

I'm assuming ACL if it's potentially season ending?

Either way, terrible news, particularly to do something like that in pre-season.

Our captain Lee Collins is ill atm, has missed some of our training camp. Should hopefully be back in training next week.

Club seeking a second opinion on Whitehouse but either way it looks like he's going to be missing the majority of the season at least.

We’ve got 2 strikers out for 2months each - Marc Richards and Kaiyne Woolery (although the term ‘striker’ for him is used loosely)

On a side note when I use the delete key once why does it take out a whole fucking sentence

Yeah, more of a winger really although has all the attributes to be a decent striker, just lacks the composure.

If he wasn’t injured I think we were getting rid

Really? After only one season and having paid a big fee? Surely worth another shot under a different manager?

There is a real player in there, his pace can be frightening.

You may be right. Though I doubt it. Looked really good in our first home game last season, scored a worldy against BRovers and did very little else.

About 1.45 in

Cracking goal that. Shows what he's capable of, can't understand why he produces it so rarely.

Jay O’Shea and Harry Bunn are injured but due to be back very soon for us.

Beckford won’t be ready until September.

Confirmed ACL injury for Whitehouse. Unless he’s superhuman, that’s him out for the majority of the season. Can only see us replacing him with a young loan from higher up.

Got a few knocks, Oyeleke went off with a knock against Blackburn and Ricky Miller is yet to feature.

Our owner has purchased Nuneaton's stadium and has arranged a friendly for Wednesday night, the day after one at Halifax despite the youth team being on a training camp in Devon so Aspin is not too chuffed at having to try and field the team twice in two days with a few such as Legge and Kay also having knocks.
