A pretty big game to start off our home campaign but one we can hopefully capitalise on considering the doom and gloom up at Sunderland, if you look on their own forum!

Circa 20k to be there on Saturday so should be a good atmosphere!

I cannot believe we are slight favourites with some bookies to win this game, after last weekend. Ipswich at 8/5 is surely buying money? I can't back it because of alliegances like.

You got anybody decent on the right wing? Look for them to cause us havoc if we start Flanagan left centre half and Hume left wing back again.

Personally think we need to ditch the 3421 experiment already.

Danny Rowe has come back from a successful spell at Lincoln and had a brilliant game on Saturday from what I’ve heard. I’ve not seen him play personally though

Rowe has looked quality but this will be his first proper test.

Will never forget talking to him outside PR as he stepped off the bus and chatted about how he was frozen out by McCarthy. Seemed to genuinely want to play for the club. Probably chatted for 4-5 minutes... genuine lad but back then clearly knew he had no chance of featuring,

As for the game... will be a great crowd (relative to recent seasons).

Head tells me Sunderland will do us- but it's another good test for us at the start of the season. Our squad is threadbare but we deservedly beat Burton in the same circumstances. I don't see us keeping a clean sheet this time round though.

Even at this stage I think both sides wouldn't be devastated with a point but we shall see.
