First game of the season next Saturday, really hope we get off to a good start. We've sold around 500 sold far, are home ticket sales going well?

Good title Don, I have no idea how ticket sales are going but would guess there will be 3,500/4,000 home fans.
As for a prediction I'm not sure, as stated previously I have been impressed with Scunny's dealings and I expect them to do well. We have retained most from last season and recruited well too. Definitely expecting a tight competitive game with a narrow win either way or a draw most likely. Think I've covered all bases there !

Congratulations on your promotion, Brewers and welcome to the lofty heights of League 1. For me, there is a gap between League 1 and League 2. It'll be interesting if you notice it. When we came up out of League 2 the season before last, we were the worst of the teams promoted and last season it showed. There is a lot more football played in this division. Less of the put your foot through the ball and hit and hope. Don't know about last season, but the season before, League 2 was truly dire. You will find some better stuff played in League 1.

We have a difficult start to the season with yourselves, Wigan, Millwall and Crewe in our opening quartet of league matches. I am expecting a tough, difficult, but good game this Saturday. It's going to be difficult, with you being promoted last season and heightened by being at home on the first day at this level. We are going to have to be at the top of our game. Our pre-season has gone well in term of results, but we have a few niggling injuries and some players have missed training and games because of them. Maybe not all the squad is ready yet. I reckon we will score, as we have real talent up top. It's at the back that worries me. I can easily see us letting in goals. Prediction - Score Draw (as the last time we played at your place).

Enjoy the season.

Cheers HP, More football being played will suit us to be honest. 1-1 most likely outcome for me. Got to rush back from Belgium Saturday morning, really desperate to make our 1st home game in league 1.

Good luck with your travels. I'm overseas too, but cannot make it to the game. I understand we have an allocation of 1000+ tickets, with 800 sold I've read. Hopefully, there will be a bit of an atmosphere for your debut in the league.
