Another tough game against a team who seemed to have a blip but has recently recovered from that. We should really be looking to win this game at home. If Dawson is out injured it'll be a big miss, hopefully Smallwood can step up and replace him.

One of our regular centre-halves, Chey Dunkley is 50/50 as is Joe Skarz (recovering from Concussion caused after a head clash with Dunks). If Dunks recovers then I can see the starting team being the same as Tuesday night, even if Joe Skarz recovers (which I doubt they will risk him).

Our away form has been woeful this season with our only win being against Bolton 2-0. If we can carry on our form and confidence from the last 2 games (albeit at home) then we have an outside chance. Scunthorpe are very clear favourites though.

*If Dunks it isn't fit then it will probably be Aaron Martin who came on for him midweek although it could be Charlie Raglan as well.

Point was a fair result at the end of the day. Thought Oxford looked very good, one of the best sides I've seen this season. We weren't at our best today and can play much better than we did. However, not the worse result as we can't win them all.
