Abit late as we've already played a game. But it's another busy month

Carlisle (H) already won this 4-1 WIN

Barnsley FA Cup (H) expecting is to give this a real good go, they've improved under new manager though, narrow loss but wouldn't be surprised at a draw and a replay we could do without. LOSS

Swindon (A) Game of the month for me, two good footballing sides, should be a great game, Swindon weren't very good at Gresty Rd but I'd expect them to be alot better at home. Our record isn't great at Swindon but we did won last season. Entertaining DRAW

Cheltenham (H) they seem to be draw specialists at the moment. They seem to like to play football the right way though which will suit us. 2-1 WIN

Macclesfield (A) rearranged game from last month's no show from Macc. Despite all there troubles they've actually picked up a few decent results. We never seem to win at Macc though 2-2 DRAW

Scunthorpe (A) we beat them pretty comfortably a couple of days ago, they would have to improve a hell of alot to get a result. 2-0 WIN

Leyton Orient (H) we've dealt with clubs that have struggled very well this season, so this on paper looks a comfortable home win 3-1 WIN

Busy month with potentially a cup replay aswell to add in. Swindon away is the Biggie, a few easier looking games towards the end of the month, should see us pick a few points up. Alot could change though if our squad gets torn apart in the transfer window.

Macc - Drew 2-2

Manchester City (FA Cup) - their billion pound squad might just have too much for us but it’ll be a good laugh regardless - LOSS

Salford (EFL Trophy) - after City we will likely make ten or eleven changes so will likely bow out here - LOSS

Stevenage Away - never beat them in the league and will probably be one of those frustrating games DRAW

Morecambe Away - should hopefully have enough to win this one, generally do well at the Globe Arena WIN

Leyton Orient Home - ding dong game earlier in the season, our home record should see us through here WIN

Swindon Away - Great result on Sunday against them but being such a bogey team can we do it twice in a month? LOSS

Exeter Home - Kind of game we’ve thrived off this season and could well win with our form against the top sides and home form in general. Always a bastard opponent at our place though but think we will get a decent point DRAW

Barnsley FA Cup (H) - Loss. Narrow defeat. We are flying but they are massively improved under their new manager. Suspect we'll come up ever so slightly short, but we'll give it a good go and give them a game.

Swindon (A) - Loss. My confidence depends on getting Pickering and Nolan back in defence, plus we might have lost a player or two by then. We also don't know if Doyle's situation will be resolved. But I still think we might come up a bit short in this one.

Cheltenham (H) - Draw. Tough team. They've really dropped off, the wins have totally dried up. They aren't losing though. Given we are more than capable of bashing the weaker teams, I don't mind drawing here.

Macclesfield (A) - Win. Tricky, as they are in a false position. That being said, they aren't winning many and I'd like to think we have enough quality to finally win our first league game there.

Scunthorpe (A) - Draw. Scunny at home are a different beast to the one we saw away I think. I think they'll play way better than they did the other day. I'll happily take a point, so long as we beat Macc.

Leyton Orient (H) - Win. Need to be winning this. They are dangerous going forward, but so porous at the back. We should be able to find the gaps and holes and score enough to win this.

So, 2-2-1 with a narrow cup exit would do me fine. Need at least 2 wins and probably 4/5 points to stay in the top 3 in my mind. My confidence solely rests on having this squad though, if/when we start to lose players, my optimism will dip sharply.

I'm terrible at making predictions but will give it a go.

Man city 7 vale 1
Salford 2 vale 0
Stevenage 1 vale 1
Morecambe 1 vale 2
Vale 2 leyton orient 1
Swindon 2 vale 0
Vale 1 exeter 2
7 points probably keep us in that 10th place that we have been stuck in for the past month or so.

Not bad so far
Grimsby 1-0 Salford
Mansfield 0-1 Grimsby

So a win against the team with egotistical owners spunking stupid cash at it, and the other a win over Salford. :bg:

Carlisle (a) - Not in great form and following on from our impressive result away at a relatively in form Scunthorpe - WIN

Mansfield (H) - Mansfield in dire form and do not have a great record against us if my meory serves me correctly - WIN

Stevenage (A) - Played them over Christmas at Home Park and really struggled to break them down. Expecting a similar game but hoping that we may have a decent striker in by then - DRAW

Crawley (H) - Draw specialists from recent results, think we may have to much for them at Home Park though _ WIN

10/12 and 4th by February

Already lost at Crewe and drew at Cardiff, but I’ll predict the rest...

Plymouth (H) - A game we should win comfortably, but we we’ll lose by a couple of goals. LOSE

Cardiff (H) Cup replay - We let them off the hook on Saturday after going 2-0 up. They won’t take us as lightly this time. LOSE

Oldham (A) - Should be looking to go there and win, but most I can see is a point. DRAW

Walsall (H) - A game that should be a straight forward win, but can see us slipping up in a narrow defeat. LOSE

Forest Green (A) - Should be going there and winning with ease, but they are due a home win over us. LOSE

Dreadful month, 1 point and out the cup. In deep relegation shit.

Already lost at home to Exeter and drew at Crawley, but I'll do the rest.

Mansfield (A) - Shit home record, but we can't score for toffee. Maybe we might be able to nick it with our new striker from Leamington now signed. Won't be a classic. WIN

Salford (H) - Battered them away. Won't batter them at home. DRAW

Macclesfield (A) - Tough side to play against, if the game happens. DRAW

Carlisle (H) - Our bogey side, only hope is if they take us lightly given they should be beating sides like us with ease. LOSE

5/12 points. Hope we do better then that though.
