Sad to read that he's been diagnosed with lung cancer.

Not sure how far advanced it is, but fingers are obviously crossed that they've caught it early.

One of the best players the world has seen the things he could do with a ball was astonishing. Hope he comes through this.

Aye that's shocking to hear. I know he polarises fans with his sometimes outspoken views, but what a player he was, and also the way he changed Barca's philosophy and how successful it's been has been a great tribute to him and his beliefs.

Hope he recovers quickly.

Sad news, I wish him the best. He was a cracking player and definitely in top 5 best in history. Part of the best Dutch side of all time and one of the best teams to never have won the World Cup.
