Suggestions that Joss Labadie bit Ronnie Henry during today's match between Stevenage and Dagenham. Westley's thoughts on the matter...

Westley said: "I think it has become a police matter and when it becomes a police matter anybody in a responsible position should let it be dealt with by the authorities.

"So in passing comment, word is around the place, that there's been an incident and the police are involved.

"He's not in a good situation, he's in the treatment room and he's suffered quite a nasty injury.

"Ronnie was in a state of shock, you don't go on a football pitch expecting to lose your finger and Ronnie was horrified by what has gone on because it's a football match and he's nearly lost his finger."

If found guilty, I hope we kick him from the club. He has previous of this at Torquay, we gave him a second opportunity. If he's messed it up, then bye bye.

On a positive note, I'm chuffed we beat you today after Westley's comments during the week.

“If we are right on our game we will take the three points and resoundingly win the game.”

Shame that

Had a shocking disciplinary record when he was with us - I think he missed 11 games one year through suspension! Stupid lad, he was a very good player on his day but seems to have ruined his own career which is never nice to see.

He's probably got teeth marks on the tip of his thumb...it's Graham Westley we are talking about.

He nearly lost a finger Saddlerrad, have some sympathy, Labadie's gnashers are like razor blades.

Always setting himself up for a fall, stupid thing to come out with even if he believes it. Was a poor quality game but we weren't good enough so can have no complaints.

I'm only jesting pal, do you have a link to a news report on it to take a look at? If Labadie has done something like this he can kiss goodbye to his wages for a few months.

If true and found guilty then he should, and hopefully will be shipped out.

Something must have provoked him though if he has done it, you don't just bite someone for no reason do you? Not excusing him if it's true because it's unacceptable, but words must have been exchanged or something like that.

As for the game, brilliant defensively from us and I have to say I'm surprised we managed to take all 3 points! Didn't think our goal should have stood personally as Labadie went towards the ball initially - if it was given against us for you guys, I'd have been livid. Still, play to the whistle like our guys did and it pays dividends I suppose. No complaints from any of our players (bar Labadie obviously), although it did boil over a bit at the end, inside and outside which wasn't particularly pleasant. Vital 3 points at the end of the day though which should now see us safe.

The bloke stuck his hand in his mouth ffs. Labadie is a prize bellend and I wouldn't put it past him to be a serial biter but that video only helps his case. You're going to get teethmarks on your hands if you go around trying to finger people's mouths.

Aye Labadie is a massive bellend but if you ram your finger in someone's mouth then I don't think you can complain if he takes a nibble.

Yeah it's a bit like going to the zoo and sticking your arm through the railings of the lion enclosure, can't really moan when the fucker rips your hand off.

I remember this c*** when he was at notts county, when we played them he got Lee Miller sent off for absolutely nothing, then bragging/laughing about it on twitter if I remember rightly.

I did chuckle when I saw this. Interested to see a) if anything comes of this & b) how the Daggers deal with it if it is true.

We dealt with it horrendously.

We had him on loan a few seasons ago, and he started very well - got himself stupidly sent off at Morecambe away and was soon offloaded back to WBA owing to a poor attitude (or so our then manager alluded to on BBC Sport)

Twice now hes been done for it, unbelievable a MAN, actual ADULT can go about biting people! - what goes through their heads?

Can't believe he's done this really, how to ruin your career in one brief moment. If it's true then he's a thug and deserves to be released. Not sure he'll play in the football league again after this, if anyone offers him any sort of contract i'm sure he'd bite their.... nope, i'm going to stop there.

Think he's left under a cloud at most clubs he's been at.

You have absolute idiots in every walk of life, football or otherwise. He appears to be one of those people. Shame, as he did seem like someone who could kick on after his WBA release, and work his way up the footballing ladder.

He'l end up at somewhere like Solihull Moors now

He deserves it to be honest, the animal. A dog would have been put down.

Hope I never see him playing for us again.

Yeah......
It would mitigate the ban somewhat if he was just banned during the close season.
Deserves everything he gets

Just dont understand what goes through your head to think oh thats it im going to bite you?! Does the ban start now, meaning it will only work out around 3 months with the summer?

How have the Daggers punished him?

I imagine we will do. We're just gathering all the evidence first. It sounds like he had a strong defence, I think we expected him to get off.

Decent player for us on his day but always seemed intent on throwing away a promising career with his disciplinary record. It's ok if you're Suarez, the likes of Barcelona can afford to take a punt and the quality outweighs the risk but I'd be surprised if Labadie's next club is any higher than the conference (hopefully not us).
