Only seems to be reported in the S*n, hence has largely flown under the radar.

He says he's been clean for two and a half years, which comes not long after he celebrated two years in charge of Carlisle, so presume this means it affected his time at Notts County and could account for the differences in personality between the Curle the Notts fans warned us about and the Curle we've seen at Carlisle.

He was a pisshead at Mansfield to be fair. How he failed with the team he had at his disposal here I will never ever know.

Still if he's been at the booze and its became a problem and he's beating it good luck to the bloke.
