Signs for Carlisle...With all due respect to Mansfield fans,,,, what planet does your manager live on to let a footballer like that leave? I can only suspect he has no plans to alter your style of play
I know what you mean mate. I cried myself to sleep for plenty of nights when Reggie left us. To this day I don't know how we managed to let such a wonderfully talented footballer and sainted person slip through our fingers.
It taints my club to this day.

The opening post has certain shades of (actually no it's a pretty much carbon copy) of that wank Bingham thread.

But didn't Mansfield try to keep Lambe?

This has no chance of being another Bingham thread however good/shit he turns out to be.

"Raynes" last summer would have been a more appropriate thread.

Baaast'd will probably get the chop whenever he visits the Abbey, thanks to our own very special Leg(ge)end.

The alternative is a Dunk in the sheep dip.

If a mediocre player like Lambe can get his own thread, then what does the best L2 signing* (so far) get? A whole forum?

Thing is I have to politely ask the mods' permission first before starting a thread on Piero Mingoia. Do I have the go ahead Messrs Mods?

Pretty much the lower leagues Garincha.

Tomorrow is an official day of mourning in Mansfield. Like losing a biblical like figure from the community.

Let's stop this nonsense.........or perhaps not.

I think the solution is to weave them into with another thread or two around the forum.

For instance, I have a really good recipe for Lambe Mingoia ( Agrassato ) - a traditional Sicilian dish.

Alternatively, Piero's cousin, Joe, has a great You Tube clip taking the piss out of Reggie that has already featured on the forum a few months ago -

We offered him less money because he'd only be a squad player possibly pushing to get into the 11. He's average for the league but there's not enough output, too many times he produces zero end product.

If curles offered him a deal because of his half decent game against you lot then wow. Best of luck to him though because he's a nice guy but when it's crunch time in the league he'll be off playing international games and be useless when he returns.

Also I thought raynes was a decent centre back, just wouldn't of got a game with taff and pearce as he was lightweight for a cb compared to both.

A few years ago, I recommended him to Luton Town.

He's the cousin of a good friend of mine.

Curle won't have signed him based on a one off game, we don't recruit like that. Our head of recruitment has said in an interview that we've been looking at our potential summer signings since January or before. They'll know what they are getting, good and bad.

Anyway a step down might do him good. He could get more game time rather than sitting warming the bench at Mansfield. If he's on more money then that's a nice bonus for him.

The only reason he's on more money is us is because Mansfield are like Arsenal in respect of more than just style of football and size of crowds, in that they have a strict wage structure.

What is this I see before me .....is it a thread named after a player ? Was I not sent to the naughty step for doing something similar ? This is blatant glasshalffullpoolsism .....I'm going to write to my MEP .....I'd better not stick a 2nd class stamp on, it needs to be there by June 23

We'll be alright if we get flooded again, because Lambe can walk on water.

He can also walk on sunshine, the wild side, and by. He's a lyrical walker.

The day of mourning went well. A mock coffin was pulled through the streets via Lambretta as the towns outpouring of grief saw crowds topping even those of the 2013 Conference title winning parade.

Everyone got spannered on Bermudan rum and filled their bellies with pork scratching - cos we're known for our authentic stupidity. It was both magical and darn right tragic in equal proportions.

Nobody's doing work today either. First they take our jobs, then they take our Bingham, now our last bastion of wing, erm, wizardry hope.
F*ck em. F*ck you. And f*ck this cruel world too.
