We have to be happy enough with that result considering we had 10 men for an entire half. Not disagreeing with the red, but that refereeing performance was shocking. Two handballs in the build up to Lincoln's equaliser.

As for Lincoln themselves, the football they play might well be effective but Christ it's fucking hideous to watch. I can only assume they don't play like that all the time, as that performance - despite being against 10 men - was more direct than anything I have seen before in years and years of watching football.

We're now 5 unbeaten, hopefully a win the cup this weekend before a winnable tie at Crewe. Only downside to tonight's match is it looks like Gardner could be out for quite a while. On the flipside, we might see Lang & Surridge up front - I think they could terrorise Maidstone's back line.

Enjoyed that tonight definitely a red card and agree Lincoln are a very direct side and very good in thedark arts. Number 17 was putting pressure on the referee and linesman all the time and akinde must have a different toting up system on fouls than most players must ofdone about 12 before. The ref finally booked him

Watched on iFollow- not our best game this season and not the best footballing spectacle although both teams had chances 2nd half to win it.

I've seen the red given and I've seen them not given. Oldham struck out tonight with a ref who liked to give!

Absolutely gutted couldn't make the match tonight as Oldham is a cracking old ground with decent home fans.

Think Lincoln's performance was better suited to the theatre than the football pitch.

Theatrics at their best.

Shite referee as usual. Cracking goal pity we couldn't hold on. No qualms with the red. Even if the keeper made the most of it are asking for trouble going in like that.

Miserable game. We really really should be looking at putting away at least one or two more of our chances, but for some poor finishing and good goalkeeping. Would have taken a point before kickoff but a game we should be winning in all honesty considering 45 mins was played against 10men (though most of time you couldn't tell).

Personally thought it was a red card, though seen them not given. Disappointing goal to give away, but it seems to be a common occurence that we allow players far too much time around the box to pick out a shot.

In terms of football was the worst I've seen us play since Tranmere away. We went far too direct and missed out all key players. I said this at half time that I hope we didn't go direct in the second half as it would ply in to your hands and unfortunately that's exactly what we did. As soon as Rhead came on it was always going to end 1 1.
