Next Saturday may well see the first teams secure their place in League 1 for next season.
Bolton will be here if they fail to win at playoff-poised Derby.
Northampton will arrive if they beat Bristol Rovers (who are doing pretty well) or if neither Plymouth (Wimbledon h) or Accrington (Luton a) pick up three points.
The only internal candidates are Vale, whose place will be confirmed if they lose to Crewe, Bradford, Millwall and Gills all win and Walsall get a point.
Personally, I think Rovers will take the points at Northampton, and an Accy win will keep things alive at the Top of L2 for a few more days, while I also fancy the Blades to take at least a point from Gillingham.
