Three players nailed on.

Bradley Dack CM
Max Power CM
Adam Armstrong ST

The other 8 is wide open. I'd imagine the other striker will be between Ajose and Grigg.

Long term gains.
Fuck off is Dele Alli better than Luongo.

This argument's still going no?

Alnwick should be in with a shout for us as should Anthony Grant who has been immense.

As for the league Grigg and Armstrong up front surely.

Best player I've seen so far is Gillingham's right back - can't remember his name.

Wildschut is the best player by far I've seen this season other than the Doncaster and Cov keepers who both were superb

Dack has to be in there, but for me ,one nailed on player has to be Nicky Ajose, top scorer, in a team that was bottom in November, maybe I'm being a bit biased with him. George Moncur has been consistent all season, like to see him at the CG next season, where his father made his name.

Yep Jackson. He has been really good this year from the matches I've been to (8 so obvs I can speak for the whole year), but from what I've seen, he really deserves it.

Keeper will be Jon McLaughlin, CM will be Dack and strikers will be Armstrong and Ajose.

I think they're the nailed on four.

Jackson - Egan - Mousinho - Henry
Dack - Sawyers - Duffy - Mantom
Armstrong - Grigg (pen)

Edinburgh as Manager of the season, seeing as most other candidates have fucked off midway through the year.

Mantom isn't very good when it comes to being consistent, he's either excellent or shit. Sawyers isn't having the best couple of months.

As Johnny says, O'Connor and Chambers as the under-rated 'spine' have been superb all season for us.. Bradshaw has to be one of the best forwards in the division? I'd rather have him than Grigg who I've sampled both of for roughly the same period of time. I'd be surprised if there's a better right back in terms of consistency and attacking play this season than Jason Demetriou.

I guess you can only really judge it on games against other sides, but Sawyers was very classy against us. Have to admit I forgot about Bradshaw, but I see your Demetriou and I raise you Ryan Jackson!

It seems funny that despite probably ending the season with the best defensive record, that we'll have no one in the team of the season in those positions. Jaaskelainan didn't play in the first 10 games, so that no doubt takes him out and Pearce and James have both had lengthy spells injured when they would have no doubt made it. Jacobs in midfield is another who looked a certainty for this but 2 months out with injury now has killed off his chances.

Chris McCann, Max Power will be in it from us, McCann is a class act and has played in about 4 positions for us this season, was one of the best midfielders in The Championship until his fractured knee cap kept him out of action for while, which is the only reason he's dropped down to League One with us. Grigg is a possibility but I'd say Ajose edges him out right now. Wildschut will miss out too has he only signed a quarter of the way through the season. Arguably the best player in the division but hasn't played enough games.

I doubt any team will have more than 2 players in it.

Could we have a case where the champions have no one in team of the year assuming Burton hold out? Not based on any individual stand outs but a unit.

I'd have Burtons keeper in, as well as Duffy - best player we've faced all season. Out of the top lot, it's Millwall that I'm struggling to name stand outs with.

Jordan Archer.

Only he, Morison, Gregory, Webster and Beevers have been mainstays this season. The rest have been rotated. We've been pretty strong across the board. I think we'll smash the league next year.

Haven't read all the posts but the best keeper I think in this league is the Southend number one

I'd also say Dack is by far the best outfield player I've seen this season on and off the tele with Saywers from Walsall in second place.
Best team without question is obviously Burton, I just hope they don't do a Yeovil who also walked this League not too many years ago

yeovil sneaked the play offs that year after finishing 4th.

Burton Albion, who does understand it ? We play as a team for each other and make the maximum of what we have. No stand out players just a 100% commitment to the cause and have carefully recruited players with great character over 2 or 3 seasons now. No massive changes and a settled squad managed very well through from Gary Rowett, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and then back to the man who started it all off Nigel Clough.
How's this for a stat, Nigel was 50 yesterday and Mark Duffy scored our 50th goal of the season yesterday in the 50th minute !
Omens like that tell you we are going up !
