Perry Ng seems to have the right back slot locked down for most. Good to see Wintle, Lowery and Kirk mentioned in many aswell.

I sometimes think they should wait till all 46 league games are played before announcing a team of the season.

Our entry with suggestions from fans is below:

Owen Evans (Macclesfield/Cheltenham) GK
Randell Williams (Exeter City) RB
Charlie Raglan (Cheltenham) CB
Dan Scarr (Walsall) CB
Chris Hussey (Cheltenham) LB
Alex Gilliead (Scunthorpe) RW
Anthony Grant (Swindon) CM
Michael Doughty (Swindon) CM
Nathan Thomas (Carlisle) LW
Alex Addai (Cheltenham) F
Elijah Adebayo (Walsall) F

Scarr was superb in Walsalls win at VP and Addai at VP was a thorn in our side... which were two i suggested that got in.

Doughty is probably the best player this season we’ve faced, in both games we was stand out and I do rate Hussey.

Can’t really disagree with any of that in fairness and it probably does show the superb form we’ve had against the top sides that only 3 of the top half sides have players in there.

Addai is an interesting one, mostly been no more than an impact sub (although a decent one) but Vale fans seemed to really rate him after our game there. I'm convinced you won't find a better LB in this league than Chris Hussey - the man is outstanding week in, week out.

Nathan Thomas is the best player I’ve seen, scored more goals at our ground in 2 games then any of our players have this season (5). Absolute quality.

he is the typical 1 good game in 30 winger that populate League Two.

Randall Williams isnt a right back.... He occasionally plays as a wing back but theres nothing defensive about his game. He's a winger even when we play a 5-3-2.

Nathan Thomas isn’t an average L2 player. He’s got more ability than most players at this level. He doesn’t produce as often as he should I admit, but way more than the 1 in 30 games as mentioned above. But that’s why he’s in league 2, if he played at his best level every game he’d be playing much higher

It's like my golf, I can hit a worldy just like Rory McIlroy, but I can only ever do it once in the 120 shots in my round.

Only player I’ve seen us play and thought blimey he’s good, why is he playing in L2, is Ng. Everyone else much of a muchness. Mind you 1st time I saw him he was red carded in the 1st minute up at Crewe a couple of years ago.

And he probably should be in L1 this season anyway, but circumstances ended up with him coming back here, because he's a homebody and because he has to be happy in order to perform his best and because he needed to find a new club fairly quickly after things didn't work out at Gillingham.
