It will be Klopp's turn next up for the Foxes to see if they can extend or perhaps maintain their 5 point advantage at the top. As a Liverpool supporter, our next 2 leagues game starting with Watford tomorrow could be crucial to whether we can keep within touch of the four title contenders, so if Raneri's side could pull off a win, I certainly would sit up and listen, as if I haven't already after an impressive win over in-form everton that keeps their momentum going. I doubt Leicester will be apprehensive of their remaining fixtures, even though it's hard to see them not dropping a fair few points. But I've doubted them once this season, and they've continued to surprise even themselves probably. Their manager has said he will start to think about the title in April, but I think it will be on the players minds, even this afternoon when they survived a late goal from Mirallas to hold on to what could be the first meaningful gap in the league this season, other than Villa at the bottom of the table. Leicester can perhaps afford to draw another five or six of their 21 games remaining if the league is to reflect the first half. The more Leicester keeps winning and talisman Mahrez keeps scoring important goals, the more pressure it builds on the chasers to win. There is no response to Leicester's plain but effective tactics so far from the premier league, so it will be intriguing to see how klopp approaches this match, if he doesn't infact copy Martinez's setup, which will probably result in a draw if liverpool can somehow disrupt the superb chemistry of an almost perfectly balanced Leicester midfield.
Despite dominating possession with 71% but only registering a pitiful 2 shots on target, the Red Devils were denied by Norwich and emphasizes their scoring troubles that have been lurking since the start of the season. Surely now Van Gaal has one foot out of the door, and Fergie's successor still remains undiscovered at Old Trafford. With Mourinho recently saying he will not be taking a sabbatical, it raises the chances of the English giants doing a Liverpool, and bringing in a coach who is more tactically astute, should relish managing a big club again and hopefully turn their fortunes around long term. Even though it would be a risk for Jose to put his reputation on the line further so soon after he turned a team against him, causing as close to pandemonium as possible. If he does go to Manchester it will be interesting to see if he can command the respect he had when he first came back to chelsea, but it's hard to see who else Man Utd have to turn to unless Van gaal can stop the rot and fast.
