It might be interesting to see if they can keep that rate up for two games in quick succession. They worked hard for the full 90 against Liverpool and didn't get a chance for anything like a breather while City could be at half pace for the second half.

Only saw the 2nd half on record, but Leics didn't work nearly as hard as they have done recently. They spent most of the game in their own half, only coming alive after going a goal down. Also Vardy and Mahrez came off early.

Think Leics will press high early on. Then it will depend on whether they can take advantage of their early dominance, cuz you've got to fancy City to score at least one even on a bad day.

Toure can still be unplayable when he fancies it. Which usually is for 15 minutes per game. Fernandinho is pretty good, too, I feel he would get noticed much more if he didn't play for City.

Anyway, any result is fine by me here, just hoping for an entertaining game.

I think this'll be a draw if I'm completely fucking honest, which I do like to be. City are poor away but I think Leicester would be happy enough to draw and will play a bit more conservatively. Maybe.

I don't know about Leicester playing more conservatively (defensively), it's their attack that's brought them success, not their defence. Man City will definitely have more of the ball, though, but I'm expecting an attacking line-up from Leicester and committing men forward when possible.

A side note: Does anyone else find it slightly irritating when people talk about "City" or "United" when both the teams in the fixture are called that? Like here, Leicester City and Manchester City. Or when Manchester United play, say, Newcastle United and people still just call Man United "United". I don't know, maybe I need counseling.

I think it's because they are the biggest clubs to be named after the same city. If you think of the other multi team cities in the country, it's only Sheffield and Bristol with both clubs sharing the same geographical name. In one, Sheffield, one of them is so unique as to get away with being just 'Wednesday' and the other, Bristol, well, they are lower in the pecking order so don't really hit the national concuousness as much. Fans of clubs like Hull, Leicester, Coventry, York and Chester may well call their side 'City' but the rest of the country doesn't. It's probably as much to do with the recent (and declining... ) domination of 'United' seeing them known mainly as just 'United' that has opened it up to 'City' having the same treatment.

If Liverpool and Everton were called Liverpool Rovers and Liverpool Wanderers, then they'd probably be known as just Rovers and Wanderers.

In Europe for a long time, United were known as 'Manchester' but that's not so common these days.

And I was right.
Ranieri has gone 4-3-3 with Inler in the middle, Vardy as lone striker.
Now Inler was the name we bought in the summer but frankly he's been total guff since we got him, so I'm not too confident on this one. Hope the Swiss bastard steps up his game and shows what he was once capable of.

Yeah, that front 4 can absolutely destroy us if they get into their stride.
Yaya, as you imply, is the real weak link there, but only cos half the time he can't be arsed to put any effort in and doesn't help much in his defensive duties. If he wants it though, it's hard to see us getting much joy in the middle. Though Kante pisses on the Ivorian shithouse!
Mahrez should hurt Kolarov, but I don't expect much from Albrighton (I never do).
