We should get another healthy crowd for this.

I've had an empty feeling all week, because we didn't play last week and I've forgotten what it feels like to win or lose.

Important that we can at least keep our unbeaten home run going until we at least play Plymouth at home next, but we're due a loss at home that means.

Looking forward to this as usual, we’ve got a mixture of players out, coming back to fitness plus the ones that have done us proud these last few weeks so a few headaches for Bonner.

Anyway I’m fully expecting us to get the 3pts tomorrow providing orient aren’t as lucky as they were at the abbey!!

Don’t think we’ve quite sold out yet but not far off I’m lead to believe.

Looks like we've sold our full allocation of 1400 so its going to be a great atmosphere. The first away day i always look for so have been looking forward to this one for some time.

9.20am train out of Cambridge is going to be busy!! 1-1.

Good job you O's, I would be lying if I said it wasn't a deserved win. Personally, I had given up hope as soon as I saw that Billy Beall, Marc Joseph and McGleish were all in the starting line up.

Seriously though, what is it with that pitch , it's no better than a cabbage patch. I'm sure it's not helping you at all as IMO Orient are one of just about only 5 L2 sides that try to play their footy on the ground and not resort to hoofball whenever possible.

As for the U's, Burton in goal had a shocker, and I think I've seen enough of certain players to say that I don't want them here next season. Top of the list is Adeboyejo, who's only on loan but I hope the club doesn't look to sign him permanently.

We deserved that, we was the better side and made more chances. Still can't keep a clean sheet for shit and made life harder for ourselves than it should have been, but thats where we're at.

Callum Burton was shocking in goal for Cambridge, he was a big reason we won the game and had someone been able to pounce on a corner he spilled early in the second half, we'd have been home and dry at 3-0.

7 unbeaten at home for us now, good to have some momentum at home for once.

That was an unusually entertaining game. Comedy goalkeeping, comedy refereeing and only one side that tried to play any football. Still can’t get any separation when we’re on top, and then it’s panic stations as soon as the ball gets in our box.

Have to say that Cambridge were about as shithouse a side as I’ve seen all season*. Lots of long ball and dark arts; not much else. Carruthers and whoever #30 was love a dive, don’t they? Right back was good, though.

*except Newport, obviously.

Fuck me we were poor, so disjointed, defence had no protection from our midfield at all, for all of Carruthers quality his application is poor I feel, definitely low on effort and needs a good kick up the arse, nobody was worse than lewis though, don’t think I’ve ever come across a player who gets picked every wk for doing absolutely nothing, been saying it for a long while now but he’s simply not good enough.

Thought the game was perfect for angol, defensively we are weak especially without Taft and angol would bully the shit out of Taylor and darling, could have been worse if he’d have started.

Plus points were Knoyle and the amber army.

Negatives were shit pitch, 10 players in yellow and black, the ref, orients no 20 and how quiet orient were.

Deserved 3pts for orient, see you next season.

'Dark arts'. LOL.

I confess I haven't got a clue what's that supposed to mean. Is it something similar to this little incident?

Yep, Samir Carruthers sure likes a dive.

Yep, Samir Carruthers sure likes a dive.

It means that you spent virtually the entire game chucking yourselves to the floor to try and win free kicks, rather than playing any football. Carruthers was the worst offender; don’t think he stayed on his feet in or out of possession once. Probably why he didn’t get a free kick in the video above; ref was as bored of it as the rest of us. Cf. #5 screaming whilst he corkscrewed through the air and got Johnson booked (there was no contact) and #30 comically swan diving every time he got within 10 yards of our area. Hope that helps.
