A team who should be doing a lot better v a team who could do anything!

We have a better record against the O's than any other team in the football league so we are bound to lose.

We have won two on the trot but we still look like conceding goals so I will go for a scoring draw.

Not in attendance as family are promising me lots of booze,. How can I resist, but I will miss going to Orient as I've always had a good time in their cornern of east London.

I think Casey you should have named this thread "Farewell Coxy v Welcome Coxy".
Will be an emotional day for him and some O's supporters I think.
I'd have liked to have been there but no trains South from Oop North unfortunately.
Anyway - this fixture is due a draw so 1-1 for me.
Merry Xmas readers.

We are so crap, its not even worth thinking about. We don't ever look like we're going to score. 0-3

Unlike the mardy pair above me, I'm predicting a narrow home win, 1-0.

Edwards will have the team well organised, we've looked miles better defensively since he's come in. I reckon we're long overdue a penalty as well.

Up the Os!

Santa's sent you O's fans a lovely Christmas gift to round off a brilliant year at Brisbane Road, cos Trevor Kettle's coming to town - the perfect end to a wonderful year at Orient. What's it been, 14 defeats in 25 games at home in 2016?

If we get one, we'll miss it. (Though I am duty bound to remind you that, for us to win a penalty, we're going to have to put the ball in the opposition box. And probably a player).

Ps. Miles better defensively = one clean sheet in three games (against a free-falling 10-man Stanley side who still had the better of the game).

I also feel duty-bound to remind everyone that's it's a 1pm kick off today, but I maintain you'd still be better off turning up at 3pm.

Now THAT'S reverse psychology. Look and learn, amateurs.

At halftime I do feel bad for Crawley, they happen to play the Orient on the one day the team decides to show up this season. So far this is easily our best performance. I was at the wrong end for the penalty but it looked like the defender got a lot of the ball. Clear cut handball in the box just minutes before so it evens out

Crawleys first half performance was the worst I've seen from any side at our ground this season - And thats coming from a fan who's seen his side lose 8 in a row at home, they were appalling. Their left back Andre Blackman was garbage and it wa sno suprise he was subbed at half time.

We were clinical in the first half and took our chances, fair play to our youngster Sam Dalby on his first goal on his first career start. Hopefully the first of many for us.

Second half, from our perspective we made it too difficult for ourselves, the second goal we let in was poor and it has to be said we were actually genuinelly comfortable I thought up until that point. But the last ten minutes were backs to the wall and if Crawley had more composure, they'd probably have got something, despite not really creating a chance.

Edwards has our team fighting, but he was pulled up short second half today - Crawley went 3-4-3 and we didn't adapt to their change at all. Also his introduction of Bowery was bizzare, he offered next to nothing when he came on.

Also Michael Collin starting ahead of Robbie Weir made a HUGE difference to the team. Having said that Billy Clifford and Jimmy Smith were poor.

As I said. A team who should be doing better against a team who could do anything ( that includes nothing).

On the transfer rumours thread I said we needed a left back and maybe you can now see why. The two we have are accidents waiting to happen.

Well done O's. Happy new year (hate you for winning though).

I completely forgot to mention him, he was appalling in the second half. He denied us a stonewall penalty and he deemed two good tackles from us to be fouls.

Having said that, I thought he got our first penalty call right and he gave us 3 soft fouls as well as ignoring a blatent push from our centre half in the last minute.

Crap official!!!
