Well we've given you 356 tickets to sell, do think you'll sell them all or more?
Yeah swapped in 2011 when the lovely Mr Evans was your manager...

:fish:
That's double what we need probably, but will be more than our usual long (ish) trip attendance. e.g. less than 100 to Grimsby 10 days ago.

Now before Imps fans moan about us having a poor away support I will point out that we are a small club playing above where we would historically play and we are trying to improve our following by playing absolutely dross and boring football.

There's something wrong about that statement but I can't quite put my finger on what.

I will not be there Saturday and obviously I hope we win but I hope it's an exciting game of football and many friends are made between fans of opposing teams....this Prozac is good stuff you know.

Now we've managed to get a few injuries and suspensions out of our system, I think there's only a question mark over Anderson and we rested 6 or so in midweek.

Crawley don't score many and neither do we, so this'll be a good'un. Hopefully not as big a non-event as the Cambridge game a couple of weeks ago.

DC said in his press conference everyone trained today but if Anderson is in the squad I'll be very surprised.
That would give around 20 to choose from.
Looks like it'll be a very close game looking at the two teams records!

Doesn't appear that Cox will be available from his mysterious ailment. Rumour mill says it is a Warren Feeney injury (ie upset the ass man.) but it could be a Harry type too. It's amazing that we have so much talent in our squad that we can let Cox sit out seven or eight games due to a rumoured argument...er

If I was in charge then the team that put up a good show against Luton would all start again and I would expect to see Camara up front for us (It would be interesting as to what other supporters think of him. I believe he could come good but I don't think he is quite ready yet). Having said that, with the aerial threat that These has we may put out a three central defender system....or with Harry in charge a complete change around.

We don't really have an aerial threat. Well, bar set pieces when Raggett goes up.

Green is 6 foot, Palmer and Rhead who are both 6 '4" rarely start and as Luke we've hardly scored a headed goal all season, 2 in the league from Raggett and 1 from Whitehouse in the Checkatrade.
We aren't a big direct team, more so last season but not this season despite what others may tell who know how we play better than those who watch them more often.

My apologies Imps fans. From what I was told you Chuck the ball towards Rhead and feed of the scraps, a perfectly legitimately way of playing I might add, but I take what you say as, as you say, you watch your team a lot more than we do.

No, we are a big, ugly, long ball side. We kick and gouge opposition players, waste time like no other side, and are generally horrible.
Every team that we beat says so. It must be true.
Enjoy the game, those making the long journey north. But watch out for the little shits wanting bother, there are thousands of them waiting on every alleyway and dark corner!

Rhead got dropped around game 6 and has hardly played since.

Lincoln could really do with a win here I think, it's around this time of year that Lincoln fans decide which team they are gonna support for the rest of the season and if they don't start winning again soon they may all go back to going shopping again on Saturday afternoons.

Yup we play long direct football which the other 23 sides in this league just aren't used to. I look forward to the highlights show each week to see all the intricate 20 pass moves ending in goals from across the league.

Think we'll kick on today with a comfortable win and start going on a bit of a run.

At 3pm, I was pissed off because I couldn't get there in time.

At 4pm, I realised it was going to be another game like the Cambridge one. At least those who went can get an hour of their time back tonight when the clocks change.

Hardly a surprise result, mind. Both solid defensively but don't score enough.

Expected more of Lincoln. From what I saw last season they didn't indulge in hoof-ball but that's what happened today.
I thought we were a tad more of a threat going forward but a draw was a good result. Your No 9 is like a neanderthal Jon Parkin; but he was so shit he couldn't even wind up our Connolly or Yorwerth enought to get them sent off.
Most impressive things? Your home support in the corner, the Hop & Barley beers and The Strugglers.
Think we'll meet again next season!
Best of luck until you play at our place.

That was awful!
Far too many players were way off their best, especially players who you can normally rely on in Raggett and Woodyard (he definitely gave it away today and held in to it far too long as well!)
The set pieces were terrible in the most part and the odd one we got it right the first half we fluffed it (Bostwick and Green) .Rheady was the only bright spark upfront for me so unlucky with the header from the only decent cross all the second half ( was he fouled for a pen in the first half?)
Baffling subs too, very bad at the office from pretty much all concerned.
Thank god they were was bad us in front of goal and couldn't take the gifts we served in the second half.
