We're decent and home, they're decent away.

GK Vickers has ruptured his thigh, so that's him done for the season. Farman's carrying a knock (a genuine one apparently...:bg:) so we might be down to our 3rd choice 'keeper.

Now that we've got some better quality outside of the starting XI, the Cowleys have quite a few tough choices to make at CB and CM.

Yep, we can almost field a large part of our starting 11 from wingers. Still only have 3 designated forwards though so we need to keep Green and Rhead fit otherwise we will be in the shit. We do look stronger though after the window than before. I think Stevenage turned down 175k for Pett recently so hoping he will add extra quality. Wharton got good reviews from Blackburn and Cambridge, only Allsop has come into the club with poor reviews from his ex club.

Going to be tough, Swindon are a decent team.

Could be a war of attrition, this. I don’t think either team will want to lose this one. Not sure why we are so much better away from home, but as long as the points keep rolling in who cares.

Elsnik and Banks have really improved the team and I think we’ll always score away, so it’s down to whether you can score 2 or 3. We’ve averaged 2 goals a game away from home.

Won’t be a classic.

How on earth did you let Crewe score 3 last weekend???
Seriously gives us hope that your defence may struggle with our pace up top (bar Rheady of course!)
In the posh seats with my daughter for the this one.
Goal either way imho and hopefully it goes our way.

Sums up the difference between our home and away performances. I think we have only conceded 14 away from home.

We also conceded 4 and 3 at home against Barnet and Crawley!

We do, though, have goals in us.

We do now from the November 25th onwards Green and Rhead have got 15 between them, even Palmer has got 3 in that time!

Quite incredible given your away record that you managed to find a way to lose to us, seeing as we a big steaming pile of rancid shit this season.

A repeat of Tuesday night would be ideal. I think today won’t be a classic and a bit of a slog. The team that ‘want it more’ will end up with the spoils.

I think Lincoln will edge it in a tightly fought game, either 1-0 or 2-1. All goals from set pieces.

Looks like 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 for us today. Wilson comes in for his full debut at CB so Bostwick moves into CM and Rhead drops out. Big call on the latter but pleased to see Bostwick back in CM - he's much more influential there and bringing Wilson in gives us more height in defence.

Bags of pace in the front 3 and a midfield of Woodyard, Bostwick and Frecklington is, on paper, an absolutely outstanding midfield.

Our midfield is very much our weak link so if you are right it could be a long day for us.

Sounds like we are comfortably the better side but Farman has gifted Swindon 2 goals.

Are you always so, err, physical?

Great result. 1 down, 10 men for 70 minutes.

It's our name, "Big, physical, direct Lincoln."

We're always worse against 10 men.

watched via vpn.

all the goals were goalkeeping mistakes, remarkable really. we were really poor, need to work on incorporating bostwick, freck and woodyard into the same XI.

Your first goal was a pen - hardly a keeper error.

Bostwick is a fouling machine

Very pleased with a point at a really tough place to come. Especially as we had 10 for 65 minutes and lost our best defender. Isn’t a penalty for a professional foul a yellow rather than a red nowadays? (Double jeopardy rule)

Sounds like the new defender was impressive.

Also sounds like a very physical game. We’ll be knackered for Accrington on Tuesday.

Only if there was an attempt to play the ball, which it didn't look like he did.

That was a perfect example of how not to play against 10 men and I felt we were under-par today. Too many draws in the last month and being a little sloppy at points during games, which are costing us.

Leading against Luton - lose, leading against County - draw, didn't start playing at Barnet until the second half and we've found ourselves chasing games an awful lot this season. We're ok at getting back into them to be fair and if we don't play particularly well, like today, you'd fancy us to get something out of a game because we're that kinda side.

Just all very under par today, probably not aided by not having Rhead in the side and the formation change but we've got 3 games in 6 days and he's not going to be able to play in all 3.

Farman is just Farman. He did the same for the first goal today as he did on Tuesday against Newport and we're in a bit of trouble in the GK department all of a sudden. There's an awful lot of blinkered Lincoln fans around when it comes to Paul Farman and I have no idea why. Decent shot stopper, yes, but he's no-where near commanding enough, won't come for crosses and makes too many mistakes. They're 3 points that he's never eradicated from his game in the 6 years he's been with us. He was very well marshalled last season by Waterfall and Raggett but you're only as strong as your weakest player in a defensive unit and he's it. He's an unsettling influence on the defence, he's indecisive and we've seen more of that this season than his previous 5.

Your No. 9 - Green? - has been reported for a racist remark towards our keeper

Really? That's interesting.

He's not what he used to be on the pitch bless him but that's a surprise and out of character

Nothing mentioned this end, but it's unusual for a black player to be racist towards another black player?

Maybe the player in question was white? Let's hope nothing was said but unfortunately it does still happen at times, which is pretty tragic

Edit - Luke said it was rhead and not green.

Which is a bit more believable

I was in the exec box behind the goal and your keeper seemed to have stopped it but then let it squirm under his body.

Heard nowt either, Rheady can be a bugger but never had down as a racist.
We met the guy prematch and was a really nice bloke.
