Knocking them in for fun .... it must be a thought of thiers to loan him out ... If anyone of us get him for a month or so we will be blessed ....They are playing at 11 on Saturday if you can pick up the stream you should have a look

Toni Gomes? He's still only 16 like so it'd be a gamble on a very young, still obviously at that age quite raw player.

We have a kid in our under 18s who scored 57 last season and has already scored a few this season, including a brace against Spurs U18s.

He's made one appearance as sub for the first team this season and will probably play a part in the JPT next week. I'd love to see him given more opportunities but that looks unlikely. Can't see Liverpool loaning out a talented youngster to be flattened by someone in league two

Your probably correct .... One of the few pleasures of our level is being first to see future stars , Beckham spent some time on laon at Torquay when he was young ,

Remember when Joe Hart was playing for Shrewsbury and we beat them 4-0.

We've got some lad in our academy who is meant to have "huge potential". He plays midfield and when he turns 16 (either next year or the year after) we're going to integrate him into the first team. The tough part will be hanging onto him until he's old enough to sign a professional contract as it's been in the national press that Arsenal and Man Utd both want him, his dad is also a coach at the Gunners. Our academy manager said that he thinks he's the best player for his age in the country so if we could just pull it off and keep hold of him until he's 17, things could be looking very good.

Aye, it's a massive pain in the arse, especially since the new fixed pittance payments came in. We had an article on our website recently boasting about an England age group call up for one of our kids and how he's following in the footsteps of six or seven other youth teamers... and listed the Premier League clubs they'd since been poached by.

Is there a minimum age when these lads can go out on loan? I would think so.

It was actually Preston when they were in the bottom league featuring an away game at Lincoln plus this against another bottom table side .... Fulham

Welcome to the world of EPPP chaps.

You didn't think the clubs at the top were setting that all up for 'the good of the game' did you? :fl::fl::fl:

I wish they'd just bugger off and form the European League which is what they've been planning all along, since Rupert Murdoch put their arms up their backs.

EPPP sounds like the biggest load of bollocks ever from the brief stuff I've read.

We have decided to jump on the bandwagon with it this season. I don't like that some Premier League club can just come down to watch one of our 15/16 year olds and take him for something around 10k and then the only time we will see benefits of this is if they ever make something like 10 appearances for the first team.

Fed up of Premier League clubs. For some clubs down here finding a gem of a player and selling him for big money keeps clubs going for a few seasons.

Let's go with that kev ,.... With only first place to go for and presumably no relegation , most games after the first few will be absolutely meaningless ... quater full stadiums and zero tv interest

But that's where they're taking it, have you read the BBC football page recently? The second top article on there the other day was about a player who'd transferred from Bayer Leverkusen to Juventus.

Don't tell me that they're not trying to outdo Sky.

Our youngster scored 4 today against an U21 team, that's 6 in a week.
