Orient could say bye bye to the EFL by full time, though results elsewhere will probably keep that blessed relief tantalisingly out of reach until Monday.

Our only hope is that we've cocked up the terms of Ollie Palmer's loan (hardly unlikely) and he can play. Our back three of two nineteen year olds and an eighteen year old should handle the useless lump with ease.

Ps. Hi Eric!

Typical...should be expecting a cricket score on Friday in Luton's favour....but its Luton.....if we can't beat West Ham's poorer cousins then we deserve fuck all!!

Harsh Oaky, even if tongue in cheek. I like and feel for Orient, especially the fans. Proper Club. I wish them all the best.

A loss or draw doesn't hurt us at all but sadly probably wont help them. We should win considering.

Oaky is Oaky like panda is panda :dis:

I mean, we have 7 points from 18 games in 2017, and honestly, it's a surprise it's that high. We've conceded 45 and scored 15 over that period.

Or on recent form:

P. 6 W.0 D.0 L.6 GF.1 GA.20 GD.-19 Pts.0

Think I am right in saying that we haven't won more than 2 in a row all season, which is pretty incredible for a team that has been up the top end all season, dont think we will get a better opportunity than this to put that straight. Anything other than a win is not really acceptable but would like to see us play a bit better than Barnet where we got a bit lucky.

Feel for Orient fans in all this, absolute sick joke that it has come to the current situation. Are their any of the young players who will be playing particularly worth keeping an eye out for? Just from reading reports of our own youth teams league, I understand your youth team is pretty useful.

Most of them will more than likely be playing on Friday! Sadly one of the better ones Myles Judd is out for the season, having won apprentice of the year at the EFL awards.

Sadly they can't play all together - Experience is vital and its partly why we keep losing every week.

We have NOTHING up front, we've only had 3 strikers since January - Paul McCallum who has been injured for 6 weeks and is the only one left with any real attacking threat, Sam Dalby who just turned 17 from our youth team and is not ready to be thrown in at the deep end (not his fault) and Rowan Liburd who was signed as Ollie Palmers replacement, but he is an appalling player who IMO has also downed tools a bit since coming into our circus.

We're due another 6, 7 or 8 nil tonking if I'm honest! Last week our teams average age was 19 and our backline was the youngest we've ever had (Including the goalkeeper) with one player Dan Happe making his debut :2thumb:

Is this game definitely going ahead? I heard that Orient players would have the right to walk out if they haven't been paid what they are owed in wages by Friday.

These threads just aren't as good without eric read's razor-sharp wit and cunning diatribes - do you think if I mention how I chortled merrily at the spilt ice-cream-dreams of the oxford youth that he'll grace us with his presence?

(psst. PSSSST! Hey eric. We've all been on your pitch mate).

If so and they don't finish the season, the stagger to 7th would get even more interesting/embarassing. None of the CUFCs managed 6 points but Exeter did and Blackpool have a win and should play them on the last game of the season. Colchester would be the main beneficiaries - lost at home and still to play at Brisbane Road.

Don't worry fat boy, I'll be along tomorrow after you've lost again and (probably) been relegated.

Is it true that back on that fateful day, one ice cream vendor was overheard saying how great it would be if Oxford played Orient every other week?
Indeed, he even tried to put it through parliament. Imagine, all those Oxford fans crying every week!

Before someone else says it, fantastic ball from Olly Lee to set up Hylton's opener. Did well to win the ball just before as well.

(He's still shit though )
