So in all the excitement of of signing a 4th choice striker on loan let's not forget we have a game tonight.

A game we really should win given the respective positions of both sides. May be a bit more tricky now we have lost Walton, I'm assuming King will have to play tonight as surely Moore was not signed in time.

These are exactly the type of games we screw up so important we pick up 3 points and maintain the little run of results we have started.

Don't think I'd change it from the side who beat Cambridge.

If we don't win then the same old questions of lacking consistency will be posed again.

I'll take a battling defeat. Just so long as the performance is better than Saturday.

Looks like we've come for a 0-0 draw with the team we've selected as well.

Keeper has already made an error for their goal. Unbelievable really. Vassell missed an open goal right after. Already looking like one of those nights.

Wow hard to overstate how much of a mare the new keeper has had there, he nearly got lobbed from a Cheltenham goal kick to give away the corner and then flapped horrendously at the cross to gift them a tap in. All within the first five minutes of his home debut. Hope he's mentally strong...

God knows how we are losing though, missed some unbelievable chances.

Well we haven't done too much wrong that half really.

Feel for the keeper, tough situation but his first touch was to tip over a punt down the pitch from the Cheltenham keeper (if I was being critical he misjudged it) and his 2nd is a real bad flap at the ball from the resultant corner. The second goal was a giveaway too (although not his fault just to add - just shit defending having been pretty much camped in the Cheltenham half).

Other than that we have played good stuff and could conceivably be ahead. Cheltenham look very limited, would be gutting to lose in this manner.

Well as first impressions go that was certainly more Bobby Davro than Rory Bremner from Stuart Moore.

Misjudged the bounce of a Cheltenham goal kick and had to scramble back to tip it behind for a corner. Then from that corner he managed not one but two air punches depositing the ball at the feet of the Cheltenham player for a tap in. Didn't look great on the second goal either to be honest, very easily beaten in a one on one.

Yeah not sure about the decision to put him straight in to be honest. Probably only met his team mates in the warm up, no real training under his belt. Our back up is only a yoof but he's played a few trophy games and done fine, give him the benefit of the doubt until the new guy is settled for a few days.

Hit with another counter attack goal having been camped in the opposition half. Just a game where everything that could go wrong has. We haven't been poor by any means

Oh and Olly Lee is on, so that's nice....

Sounds like Luton have just had a stonewall penalty turned down. This could be the turning point of our season (if we hold on, and that sounds a big if right now).

Just to reiterate that it's not your night absolute blatant penalty not given at the end there. Don't know how he didn't give it, just bottled it I think.

Just all stemmed from that keeper error and went from there. Hope Jones is on the phone trying to get another one

I can only hope that was first night nerves from Moore, comlpete liability. Missed a couple of crosses after his howler and let in every shot on goal. No doubt in my mind that, as poorly as they played tonight, Luton would have won that game with Walton in goal.

Yeah bang on, Walton saves at least one of the other two and they never even get the corner for the opener. What a difference a keeper makes.

Ridiculous from us. Gifted them 3 goals. Moore had a nightmare debut and am very pleased we've signed Macey. Harsh on the lad but he didn't look up to it. Senior caught out of positions for the second and they just walked through is for the third.

Managed to score twice without playing particularly well and had a stonewall pen turned down in stoppage time. The footage is on Outlaws if you want a butchers.

Thoroughly depressing day.

I really don't think we were as bad tonight (first half in particular I thought we looked decent and worked some openings and chances ) as some have made out but the calamity that was the first goal really lead to our demise.

After that we were a perhaps a touch naive and probably went a bit too all out to get back in it quickly. If Vassell puts the ball in the empty net then I think we get away with the first goal error and at least get something but we were so attacking trying to get that equaliser it left us massively vulnerable on the counter which is how the second came about. Pretty much same thing happens for the 3rd. Outside of those 2 counter attacks really we have dominated. Second half we didn't really do enough with the possession however.

Every time I see Lee play for us I wish it was the last, bloke is utter shit.

Was an unbelievable decision (or non-decision), even in real time it was clear as day a foul. The Cheltenham fans to a man stood and celebrated like they'd scored another goal when the ref waved it away, never seen anything quite like it.

Was clearly a dive..... we were all as shocked as you that the pen wasn't given!
