That's a nasty tackle from Bony.

Swiftly followed by a roundhouse kick to the face of Routledge by Sagna.

Swansea are worse than us at conceding straight after you score

Similar to a tree falling in an empty wood does the goal still count if there are no fans there to witness it?

To me Swansea was better most of the time but Hart did a great match...and that Iheanacho's blow was very useful for City too.

Having not watched this match I'd like someone lucky enough to have witnessed it to tell me if the tight scoreline was a case of Man City not playing very well vs a side that's been playing pretty poorly of late or if it was a case of Swansea stepping their game up now that Monks been fucked off and giving the Champions elect a real run for their (endless supply of) money?

From the look of the highlights, the latter.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Joe Hart certainly thought so, but I suspect it was a combination of the two.

Very important to get a result today, to build on the momentum from the midweek game as well as getting back to the top.

Also certainly a bit lucky at times going from the highlights, but I don't think anyone has ever won the League without a bit of luck here and there, and they've had some bad luck this season, too.

Surprised to see that it was only Gormis' fifth goal of the season, though. He's impressed me whenever I've seen him, and as I don't really pay all that much attention, I assumed he'd have been a lot more regular on the scoresheet.

FFS. Must try and pay more attention! At least he didn't do that 'Panther' thing...

I have to say that I do like Hart's post-match interviews, he's always brutally honest.

Be it for City or England.
