Coming towards the end of the season and Manchester United fans are starting to sweat. Liverpool and Spurs look like teams with greater depth, quality and confidence than they do - and despite what drones like Pogba and Ander Herrera (if that is even his real name) say, United need to strengthen if they are to be taken seriously. They lack experience, quality and depth, I am sure their fans are not going to be confident going in to the new season.
I was watching the Tottenham game in my spacious three bedroom studio flat in Surrey. I had my feet up on my £400 glass table, sipping on a cappuccino and puffing on my thick, tobacco-infested cigar whilst watching Bamidele Alli & Co. tear United apart. It brought a smile to my face in many ways - the way the Spurs slapped and manhandled United like a ragged doll. It was very entertaining from a neutral perspective. Champions League? You're having a laugh.
The fans get what they deserve. For the past two or three years you lot have been fed up by the so called American corporates ****ing you in the arse left, right and center. Yes, we hear you moan everyday on Facebook, Twitter and certainly at Old Trafford where you boo your own players. Your feelings are heard, but you do nothing about it. Perhaps they are influenced by Martin Luther King or Mahatma Gandhi, I'm not too sure myself.
Lets face it, United are in shambles. They no longer have that fear factor in the Premier League. Old Trafford is not a fortress, top European players don't want to play for Mourinho, and their fans are fickle. They have been out-muscled by the likes of Watford & Celta Vigo and have been shut out by Hull. I'll be amazed if they win another game this season.
So what does every one think? Are Manchester United still a top club? I think most of us can agree they're not. They show no ambition and have not come close to winning the league for years. Their reputation has gone down the gutter.
