Is there actually any threads for tomorrow's games yet bar the Carlisle one? It must be time to trial out one big match thread as the activity in the majority of them in this section.

Anyway the match, It will probably be tough. Crewe's form isn't good, 1 goal in their last 4 away matches so hopefully we can keep them out again. Greeny seems to be doing the right things again so if we can keep Crewe out I'm confident of us scoring a couple.

Crewe out of form, so were Morecombe Boxing Day! Think it will be a disappointing 1-1.

Crewe played some nice tippy tappy football and passed it about well, but were a bit toothless in attack and a bit unlucky in a couple of goal mouth scrambles.

Difference was that stags put the ball in the net when ball dropped free in area whereas Crewe didn't.

Fairly comfortable win TBH. Crewe had their chance to make a game of it during their 10-minute spell of pressure at 2-0. Other than that there was only one team in it. Could, and probably should, have been six with 3 glaring misses.

Crewe were pretty lame tbh.

Plenty of possession and nice touches, just with no hint of a final ball.

As said just above, Crewe had a few goal mouth scrambles around the 70-80 minute mark and it could easily have been a tricky final 15.

All in all, it was very comfortable, once the 2nd went in it was game over pretty much.

Encouraging again from the midfield

Has any club in the country in the last 30 years stuck with a manager for over two years since their blatant best before date?

A lot is made of managers not being given time but this is the other extreme. It's fucking madness.

I didn't think we played very well at all but Crewe offered literally nothing uptop, despite having a lot of the ball.
