Our game in hand is this Tuesday. Let's hope we can put Northampton behind us and pick something up here, Luton have never won at Field Mill in a league game and now more than ever we could do with that stat carrying on!

I hope we don't go 451 again, we need to go at these and for once finish a game off if we go into the lead. Think Luton are down to bare bones in defence so let's hope we can take advantage of that.

4 points out of Northampton and Luton would be fantastic, A draw wouldn't be the end of the world but we can move 5 points clear with all 3!

Bit concerned that our centre halves might get a bit bullied, more concerned about that happening to Lacey rather than Franks.

Depends how Mansfield play, earlier in the season they looked like a bunch of cloggers playing to their weaknesses and trying to knock it about a bit and not being very good at it, if they do that I think the "makeshift" centre half pairing can see that off, get at them and be aggressive and I think we'll struggle, especially Lacey.

Be interesting to see if we stick with 2 up front or if that will become a home game thing.

I'll go for a 1-1, would be amazing to win and go 3rd given a big portion of the season we have missed key players for weeks on end but can't help but think we will have at least one defensive lapse.

I don't think it's possible to play football on our pitch. I can see Rhead starting up top with Oliver.

I'd be happy with a point, its all about steady accumulation.

Ideally, we need to win 1 of the games against Luton (h) Oxford (a) and Dagenham (h) before the turn of the month. If we can up something likea win every 4 games from now on in, with some draws chucked in we should be alright.

As RC said, I would expect Rhead to start, why we went so defensive against 10 men on Saturday i'll never know

Christ. Presumably you are paying money to watch this as well.

Shame this is on a Tuesday, trains on the way back are basically non-existent which will hit our following quite a bit I imagine (it's certainly ruled me out from travelling).

No idea what team we will play. Hard to drop either Cullen or Stockley after Saturday, but like TFCH I wonder if 4-4-2 will be a home game thing only (especially with a make-shift centre half pairing to protect).

Mansfield are right up there with the very worst teams I've seen this year, but we (as pointed out, quite literally) never do well there so I probably wouldn't be too unhappy with a point all things considered.

I actually have a feeling the makeshift centre halves will be part of another clean sheet. I fancy us to nick if 1-0. Stockley with the goal.

A point wouldn't be a disaster though, but it would be nice to break our Field Mill duck and win back to back games for the first time since October!!

Hope he stays 4-4-2. Cullen and Stockley were excellent Saturday.

It's certainly a shame McNulty isn't playing - mind, we've 10 or so spare seats for him

Come on Mansfield we need another favour off you as we seem to be cocking up promotion ourselves, even a draw wouldn't be too bad i suppose.

This looks like a draw to me, and I would think both clubs would be relatively happy with a point apiece. Question is, would the Stags and the Hatters on this forum be happy with a point?

Can't speak for others but... Sort of.

In isolation a draw im ok with but we've had quite a few recently from on paper winnable games that mean rightly or wrongly, I'd be a bit frustrated. That coupled with Mansfield being one of the worst teams I've seen this season and the fact we played quite well on Saturday a win here would give us some momentum at a very good time.

However given the circumstances of having our 2 best centre halves unavailable, important people still injured and Mansfield not being a particularly happy hunting ground I'd be ok with a point.

Yes, Luton have dropped points in winnable looking games recently, but I don't know if tonights match could also be considered as winnable. They're hard to break down at theirs, and according to fans of clubs who've played them recently, their performances have improved, which is no surprise as relegation threatened sides often pick up after December/January. Unless they're Cheltenham of course!

Sounds like we are playing absolute shite hoofball.

Seems like every time we see a slightly dodgy pitch we shit ourselves and forget to pass.

Edit: just realised that sounds like I'm blaming the pitch, not my intention!

Jack Thomas with the assist as well. He's going to have a great career. Edged first half but as we know us being 1-0 up counts for shit.

Just read read we haven't won a match when we have conceded first and lost every match where we have trailed a half time so I think you're in a pretty good position!

Well we always seem to take the lead and then concede and never hold onto it.

So something is bound to give
