If we play like we did against Carlisle when we may sneak a draw... but I've got my money on a 2-0 home win here.

A win here is expected by all, and it's time for Murray to start getting these wins.

Obviously Stevenage haven't had the best of starts and time will tell if the start is reflective of their quality against the rest of the league.

However, is high time adam finally starts to deliver at home - he will (probably rightfully so) cop significant stick if we again fail to win at home.

That said, I expect a more attacking and fluent display Saturday

Standard from adam.

Same old 6 defenders on the pitch
Same old conceding at home every game
Same old failing to win
Same old diabolical performance
Same old fans being bored to tears.

Shape up fast adam, or ship out.

We lost to a very poor Stevenage today. Fair play to them though. They came with a plan to pinch something from the game through the usual spoiling tactics and succeeded. That is reflected in the number of bookings for them (six). Too many ineffective players for us and some just had a bad day at the office. I think we may need to check in at the 'relegation thread' fairly soon.

I can't remember a performance as bad as that in some while

Stevenage were absolutely hopeless - they started hardly being able to string a pass together and looked like a side going down. Yet murrays dull, drab, defensive, boring, futile home tactics naturally provided them with confidence.

By the end of the game Stevenage were world beaters and should have won by a goal or more than they did.

We go behind and we lose, we go infront and we don't win.

Mansfield folk love adam, but are tiring of his tactics at home. It's Upto him - grow some balls and see what's what or carry on and get sacked

Had a good laugh today with one of the PA announcements at the Mill.

Just knew it was one of Rich's mates having a laugh.

'Would Jake Allsop go immediately to the hospital as his wife had gone into labour'

Congrats, Mr Cranium. Trust the good lady and babe are doing well.

After seeing 10 minutes of Stevenage play, like Grimsby I thought to my self we must surely win as they look like a non-league outfit.

All credit to Mansfield for being shit enough to lose again, that took some doing.

You have to wonder if he's lost the dressing room.

Either that, or the way they all ran-round like headless chickens after going 2-1 down shows his tactical ineptness.

The fans are sick and tired of this dull, defensive football at home, that simply does not work - how long is this going to take him? 2 home wins in 10 this season and he still believes his approach is correct.

He needs to admit he's wrong and change his philosophy or he'll get sacked - it's that simple.

He lost a lot of fans on the fence Saturday - he's starting to enter dangerous territory unfortunately.

Don't take it the wrong way, but had you had any cutting edge infront of goal, you'd have been by the 7 mile pub with the 3 points at half-time, we even got lucky then

There's a real beauty about visiting Field Mill. You can sit there is gorgeous isolation, watching the gunk that appears out on the pitch, though in a perfect realisation that it's largely been this way for 119 years. And as the floodlights come on and autumn draws ever in, you can leave the discomfort of that plaggy seat and whilst fick dunderheads yell moronic abuse at the latest failing club legend, you can draw comfort from the fact that, your tea will probably be nice and hot when you get in and you can turn off from what is actually (when you break it down on what's important in life) grade 4 level domestic kick-n-rush, and get on with other stuff that doesn't include grumbling repeatedly on the internet about something that's been happening your entire football following life.

That's the beauty of supporting a shit provincial grade 4 level team of cloggers for me; they never let something daft - such as success - get in the way of important stuff: such as washing the van, reorganising the kitchen cupboards and banning the young un from social media.
