I suppose we know what to expect from Wycombe away from home. That's not a put-down by the way, their usual spoiling tactics seem to be reasonably successful. Is the Beast injured? This will be a tough one even without him.

Yeah, tough game this. Would like to see us attack early on, build on the momentum from Saturday.

Can see him changing the team round a little with 3 games in a week. Think Rose will start instead of Hemmings, and Diamond instead of Mirfin.

I've said many times on here i despise the tactics Ainsworth makes out team play it's hated by all fans including our own, will give him some credit this season as he seems to have us attacking more and we usually have lots of goals in our games even when we lost. No wordon The Beast as Ainsworth never gives info like that out until the starting XI is announced.

I'm always weary of Wycombe, they're a decent side without ever being spectacular, their tactics at Field Mill have always been akin to Barnets.

Said i'd be happy with 4 points from Grimsby and Wycombe, and having obtained 3 from Saturday, a draw wouldn't be the end of the world.

As Hamez said, i'd expect Rose to start tonight, Hemmings looked a little (a lot) tired on Saturday after half time. If the beast is playing, i'd have grave concerns over the ability and communication of our defence and keeper to deal with crosses.

Just read that The Beast should be fit according to Ainsworth, mind he said that about Sam Saunders and Nathan Tyson last month and they still haven't been fit enough to play. :ffs:

This will come back to haunt me, but i'm not overly bothered if Akinfenwa plays. Pearce dealt with him well twice last season, and think Mirfin copes well physically.

Cue him scoring a hat trick tonight.

Wycombe looked a good side and I think they will be in or around the play-offs at the end. They played a decent passing game and made a few chances. We did well to keep a clean sheet to earn the draw.

Awful game. We were poor, but did well to keep a clean sheet, especially in the first half when Wycombe were on top.

Decent point in reality. Tough conditions and Wycombe will be up there.

Thought Wycombe would be tough and said 4 points from the 2 games would be perfectly acceptable, this is what we've gained.

Just seen the highlights and Brown's save early on from our ex Player Angol was stunning, looked like your keeper had a very good game as well in difficult conditions for keepers.

Yeah both keepers had to pull off good saves.

It was a shocking match that Wycombe probably edged to be honest, when the conditions are that bad you should always be happy with a point.

Steve Evans decision to stay unchanged was a mistake, the game was screaming out for Rose up top to actually win some headers.

Still not sure what Hemmings does

On a plus side Pearce was immense and our defence is finally starting to look more like last years.

Credit is due to Logan for a good game too.
