A tough game for us I think as they do stick a few in at home. They've just twatted Northampton too, though I don't know if that's a compliment to Mansfield or just another example of Northampton being absolute toss.

I struggle to believe we can keep keeping away clean sheets (4 on the bounce) - the run has to end somewhere, and this might be it.

If Surridge is back we might sneak a win, if he's not we just might scrape a bore draw. I'm not 100% sure COG will start this one though as aside from the fact he's pretty shit, he played a rare full 90 minutes at the weekend.

Still unsure how good/average we are yet, got the joint best defence in the league but have drawn far too many games especially from taking the lead, think we stand now at W3, D5, L1.

Generally we play pretty good at home so far and are almost certain to create a few chances and put at least one away but unless we manage to get a second we will probably buckle and concede.

Not much to read in to the Northampton game, but it will give the players some confidence and Rose is starting to get form and he's a problem for any team in this league.

It was a mixture of bad luck, the referee, poor quality in the box and some super saves.

Shit happens Adam stag like I said you should of been 2 or 3 up at half time but 2nd half when we matched you up in midfield you didn’t create many chances but still bossedthe game as an attacking force we were non existant all game so I’m very happy with a point you don’t always get what you deserve

I think that’s a tad harsh, we played some really good football and Oldham could not get the ball, don’t get me wrong you were useless with it when you had it. We were a bit sideways at times too.

Only can blame ourselfs for not being able score though.

Bookies have got us joint 3rd favourite for the title at this stage due to the statistics they use but it means nothing unless we start taking our chances.

Don't care about performances at this stage of the season only results and a point at Mansfield with the team we put out is a good one.
I'll be happy if we are in and around the playoffs and in touching distance by January. Hopefully then Baxter will have found his feet and big AL will be tempted to find the funds for a quality striker,meaning we can push on for a good finish.

Didn't go last night but I don't think this team (when surridge plays) is far off.

Oldham came and got what they set out to do. We really do need to start scoring goals now, performance wise from us that was probably the best of the season so far.

No offence to Oldham and obviously you got to do what you have too to earn points but I’d feel robbed paying to watch that, Literally time wasting 25mins in to the game? Surely it can’t always be like that and hopefully a compliment to us as we were taking it to you everytime we had possession in the first.
