I've seen that a couple of TFF Admin are posting on here.

I know that TFF is closed for the long run, but I would like to ask for it to be put back online just for a month or so (as was announced yesterday apparently). I ran a forum game on there not long ago and it's gone, even looking at the independent web archive sites. The contestants put a lot into it and it was a great laugh. I'd love to have the chance to save it. I'm sure Steady would like the whole Nike thing to buried with TFF but I'd prefer it not to be.

I'm sure other people have other reasons that they would like to get onto TFF one last time, send some PMs or they may have their own thread/PMs and stuff they want to save, members they want to contact. It would help with getting the full compliment of this great and friendly community over here to this new home, and continuing the TFF tradition.

This may be in vain, but TFF is offline. The threads of the past are on the verge of being deleted forever. But before you turn thefootballforum.net life support machine off, THIS is my last request (sorry

It'd be good just to make sure everyone knew about this forum...There's still a few of the regulars yet to show up on here.

Nike will never die either, never.

Unfortuntely, the domain name has been handed back. http://www.thefootballforum.net/ will direct you to a site that sells domain names
It hasn't been handed back to anyone. Reg 123 is a domain name registration service and hosting company. Tff's name would have been bought through that company. By default the domain name links back to the registration service if there is no site to forward it on too.

Ahhh thanks for that. But the point stands that TFF is not there anymore

What a load of tossers. Completely disrespecting that people have been in cumulative hundreds of hours into projects and stuff on there. There was that one guy, Gull something who spent what must have been days doing his Life in Levice, and that may have all been lost. TomF, you sir are a top class prick.

What was the game you ran on there?

TFF Survivor: South Africa is the one not in the web archives. Ah well, I made this thread more in hope than expectation.

Chuck this bad boy into a Google search tff survivor south africa site:www.thefootballforum.net

You can then open up the cached link and see the thread.
Put a page number in the Google search to bring up a link to that page to open in cache.

We managed to get a couple of threads in the non-league section this way.

I've just tried doing that to find my top 100 footballers thread, how do I get the cached links? Cheers anyway

There is a little drop down where you click on Cache.

Click on the little arrow to the right of the green writing showing the path under the blue heading. If you can't find what you want from the Google cache then try another search engine like Bing as it might have visited that page more recently.
