So, abit of a revenge game - it could be seen by most City fans.

I have nothing against Millwall and their muggy fans, but the way we just bowed out of the play-offs was disappointing.

We went into the play-off fixtures with injury troubles, and it has gotten increasingly worse since then.

Going into the first league meeting since, we have 8 players missing, according to the messiah. He hasn't named 'em, but we could probably guess.

Stephen Darby
Rory McArdle
Matt Killgallon
Nathan Clarke
Tony McMahon
Josh Cullen (int duty)
James Hanson
Vincent Rabiega

Although I have a suspicion Darby will make his first league start of the season, after coming through the JPT fixture unscaved - a timely boost somewhat.

The introduction of McNulty and Vučkić may see at least one start on the bench. It'd be unfair to drop Hiwula and Clarke, even though Hiwula seems to be abit of a scapegoat at the moment.

GK: Colin Doyle

RB: Stephen Darby
CB: Romain Vincelot
CB: Nat Knight-Percival
LB: James Meredith

RCM: Mark Marshall
DCM: Timotheé Dieng
LCM: Nicky Law

CAM: Billy Clarke

ST: Harris Vučkić
ST: Jordi Hiwula

Josh Cullen is a big miss, whilst he pulls the strings in the ROI U23 squad tomorrow, but I feel we will have enough to come away with a result at Millwall this Saturday.

800ish City - 1-1 McNulty debut.

Millwall are aiming to clock up their 9th League Home win in a row, but will have to do it without our goalscoring midfield sensation Jimmi Abdou (away on Int Duty as well), 9 in 325 apps now, so we'll have to make do with this fella taking pot shots from the halfway line.

2-1 Milwall, would probably start Vuckic given his size as we've still no Hanson as we didn't in the PO's which cost us last May. If fit, I'd like to see Kilgallon start in defence which would free Vincelot to start in midfield in place of Cullen. Who to drop from Hiwula or Billy Clarke is a bit of a toss up, I'd drop Clarke personally as I think his confidence still appears not much better than rock bottom as it was most of last season and Hiwula is quicker which would probably compliment a he and Vuckic partnership more.

Confident of a result here, feel we now got a better team than the one that lost in the play offs. Still a very hard away fixture for this league possibly the toughest but Im guessing at 2-1 to City with 2 goals from Clarke.

Since being hopeless at home last year, Millwall have turned it around, last 22 League/Playoff Home games P22 W15 D4 L3 F38 A 13
Last defeat was back in February. Only twice in those 22 have the opposition got more than 1 goal (1 was v 10 men incl a penalty)
Two of those draws was v Bradford, but we didn't need to try and win the playoff game.

No doubt you've a good home record and have continued it in the league this season - not sure previous results matter that much though, our team starting tomorrow will likely only have 2 starters from the play off 2nd leg, we've had an overhaul since Parkinson left.

We're playing completely differently to how we were under Parkinson and create more chances - we just need someone to stick them away. Hopefully McNulty and/or Vuckic can do that for us - though don't think either will feature much if at all today.

If we can repeat our recent away performances at Pererborough and MK Dons I think we can get something from this one - will hinge on how we defend from set pieces as that's probably our weak point at the moment.

I'd be surprised if there were a lot of goals, I'll say 1-1, which I'd happily take.

1-0 up great first half for City, Marshall continuing his fine form by forcing an og tough 2nd half to come no doubt.

1-1 Would've taken that before kickoff although we should've won it right at the end.Still a really good point

A good point and one I'd have happily taken beforehand.

I think we're actually coming away a bit disappointed not to win - fantastic save from Archer to deny Law at the end though if I'm being hyper critical Law might have sold him and put it in the big gap at the near post.

The offside where Law 'scored' was incredibly tight at the moment the ball was played - how the assistant, looking 'through' the defender to see Law, has called that (with any degree of confidence anyway) I'm not sure.

Onwards to Gills, another tough one.

Would never have predicted this start when McCall was first appointed. Very impressed.

We seemed to have played relatively well, and it's always nice reading opposition reviews, where there has been plenty of credit being thrown our way.

On reflection, a draw was a fair result - and we could've easily won it right at the end.

Both sides will be up there again this season.

Fair result and a very good game.

Agree both teams will be up there, but too early to tell if playoffs or promotion contenders
