I think the difference was the Barnsley one flew into the top corner and the Cov one was hit literally straight at the keeper, but it swerved wildly at the last minute which saw the keeper dive the wrong way. It looked like terrible goalkeeping as opposed to a well hit free kick.

The Barnsley one swerved late as well. That comes from how he strikes it. The keeper did get a hand to the other one but there was no way he was stopping it.
