Another very tough game coming up for us, it feels like we always get beat by Bradford, I hate playing them.

If Hanson is playing he will score, we've had a good start but I think our bad run against Bradford will continue.

MK Dons 1-3 Bradford

A certainty Agard will score surely? McCall confirmed yesterday that he was our first choice but we weren't prepared to pay what MK have, a shame for us but our wait for a striker goes on.
Hopefully one or two returning to fitness for this one so fingers crossed we'll be able to fill our bench for the first time this season.
Our recent record Vs MK is excellent which gives me confidence even though this will be our toughest game so far of the season, I'll go for a score draw, 2-2.

Is Hanson going to play?
Almost certainly, I would expect the same 11 to start as at Peterborough on Saturday fitness depending. It was McCall who signed Hanson all those years ago from non league, so years on that connection is still there and although we have better options this year to vary our formations and not need Hanson to be that focal point of the hoof, we've so far stuck with the 442 that we're so used to seeing (that's very much open to change though when we eventually get everyone back and fit again)

Tough one, but we do seem to fair well against MK Dons.

Colin Doyle

Tony McMahon
Romain Vincelot
Nat Knight-Percival
James Meredith

Nicky Law
Josh Cullen
Danny Devine
Mark Marshall

James Hanson
Jordi Hiwula

Still a lot of players out, but we're plodding along just fine at the moment.

500 purchased tickets for the beam back so far, so I'm not expecting many City to be there - perhaps 300?

Think it will be a very similar game to our 2-2 draw with Millwall at the weekend, Bradford will almost certainly score at least one, but feel we have the players in our team at the moment (Powell, Agard, Maynard etc) to at least match what Bradford do for most of the game. Could go either way, but think the most likely result is a score draw, or Bradford winning by a single goal margin.

Small bonus for us, we have Carruthers back from injury and was one of our best/most creative players in the Championship last season.

Our lineup will probably be:

Martin

Lewington
Walsh
Downing
Baldock

Potter
Upson

Powell
Agard
Carruthers

Maynard

Swap Agard and Carruthers and I'd probably agree with the lineup

As desired, no Hanson, because we don't have enough out injured anyway

Well, we should have capitalised on our first dominant 5 minutes and failed too.

Then 2 defensive errors and we are 2-0 down. Great strike for the second though.

Not terrible just looks really nervous and shakey. I'm fairly confident when Wooton is fit he'll take over.

Relatively simple once we went 2-0 up. First half we played particularly well, and as you'd expect from any hosts, a mini-revival - but it wasn't enough.

I felt the ref gave MK absolutely everything. I can't remember a ref being so one-sided - thankfully I didn't matter much in the end.

Disappointing to conceed late on.

Decent atmosphere back at Valley Parade this evening - a good 700 in attendance, and a plausible 600 down in MK.

Onwards and upwards.

You are joking right? The ref was all for you. Denied us a clear penalty and gave us nothing all game.

Saying that, we were ducking awful tonight. To slow on and off the ball, Nicky Maynard was absolutely awful again and just needs dropping.

I'm genuinely amazed by that, but that's your opinion.

I am sure Karl Robinson will firmly blame officials as usual after an MK defeat..

BTW Doesn't every fan think the ref is biased against them...?

I only caught the end of his interview but Robbo went ballistic at the ref. Something about what he said to our players, he was fuming. He's got angry at refs before but I've not heard him this angry.

Yes.

Also it's our own fault we lost tonight, 2 horrendous defensive errors, as well as a great strike for their second, but he shouldn't have had the opportunity to score it.

In the past former players used to say officials would engage in "banter" with them often helping the communication and respect between the 2.

Now officials can be a bit "I am in charge so don't talk to me" types which must frustrate players and managers.

Robbo did say the ref was completely disrespectful to his players or some shit, I don't care in all honesty. We should have had a penalty but I don't give a fuck about the refs performance. I think its Robbos fault for his shit tactics.

Well he does have history (like all managers!)

Probably knows the pressure will be there to go back up - anyway maybe only a blip!
