Hopefully we will be a bit more competitive now that our injured players are finally starting to return and Stephens is in good form. Still can't see us getting anything at MK though.

No, we don't normally do high scores. 2 or 3 - 0 at best. Hopefully we won't have a hangover from getting stuffed by Grimsby in the cup,

He played and scored in our checkatrade defeat to Brighton but most of the time he's on the bench.

For us to thrash Macclesfield just seems too obvious. At some point Macclesfield are going to have an upturn in form, and we've just lost two cup games on the bounce. Not only that, Tisdale won the dreaded Manager of the Month award for October which inevitably means things go tits up soon after.

Saying that, our home form is very good (unbeaten).

Prediction: 1-1

We leak goals, powder puff midfield and strikers who can't score.

Won't get better until January and it'll be to late then.

A win to take us top against the bottom placed side? Our first home loss written all over this one...

I'd seriously hope we flex our attacking strength for this one though, on paper our strikers should be getting 2 or 3 each, but we all know that the game isn't played on paper. Our defence will have to be shuffled a little, but I'd just expect Walsh out for JMT.

I'd like Hancox to start, but we can't even consider dropping Lewington at the moment.

3-0 Dons and top of the league. Please.

As expected MK swatted us away without too much trouble. The difference in class really showed, especially in the second half.

Fairly routine win as expected, but Macclesfield are a long way from being the worst team seen at Stadio: MK this season and were quite tidy without threatening too much. So Macc fans, why the booing at the last substitution?

Better team won. There was some degree of improvement from us, due to the influx of players returning from injury. Still lacking fitness and confidence (on top of quality) but some positives at least.

Last sub was probably booed partly because Maycock is a bit pants, but mostly due to taking off of our most lively forward for defensive midfielder when we're losing.

I think the club must have reformed in the summer and renamed as Macclesfield Town 0.

Easier than I expected, but as Third Team Lucky said, Macclesfield certainly not the worst team to come to Stadium MK this season, especially the first half thought Macclesfield put up a decent fight, but heads seemed to drop after Aneke's goal.

Nice gap between us and the playoffs opening up now..

Looking bleak for Macc Town which is a shame after the efforts to get back into the EFL.

Issue for them now is they need around 40-42 points realistically from 28 games, it’s pretty much play off form required.
