What was your best/most important moment supporting your club of 2015?

For me it was our takeover finally going through and ending all the uncertainty surrounding the club.

Best, was Chris Wilder's passionate interview after the Notts County game when we were possibly going out of business the following and week and he was calling the chairman out. The official Twitter and Facebook accounts both called for him to leave after the game too. According to people close to the deal, this interview had a massive say in getting Cardoza to finally relent and fuck off, meaning staff could be paid after 6 weeks without.

It's pretty hard to look past this match for us.

Watching Asamoah equalise at Anfield and celebrating in the home stand as the only Carlisle fan was pretty awesome. The 2-0 win against Plymouth to secure safety last season was also a highlight.

Ricky Modeste putting promotion back in our own hands. It was the point at which I beleived promotion would happen and without his goal for Dover I'm fairly sure we would still be in the conference

Our big day out in Nottingham because it's been a pretty dull year. I pick that game just for the performance and atmosphere we created made it brilliant, and 10 pints.

Beating Tranmere despite being shit and staying up was a relief though so could put that there.

Or the day Ollie Palmer finally fucked off.

Yep, no question. February to November were pretty shite, January and December the only decent months. June and July weren't awful I guess....

Probably come back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at Luton in April. That, or Clinton Morrison scoring an overhead kick vs Stevenage.

This sums it up.

The County match was phenomenal, one of the best games in my time supporting the stags.

However I feel the next few years holds a more special time for the Stags and we are certainly a team on the up.

Knowing that I'm now supporting a very competitive football team under a good manager, instead of having to cheer on a shower of shit from the previous few years.

As for a specific moment I'd say getting Liverpool in the 3rd round was a big one.

The tense Wembley play-off win over Grimsby to escape the Conference at the first attempt was incredible. It was a mixture of delight and sheer relief that we'd achieved what many told us was impossible. The world seemed a wonderful place when Lee Mansell slotted home the winning penalty.

In terms of a League Two game, I loved the 1-0 win at Luton in August. We went there, controlled most of the game and got our rewards with a stoppage time winner from fans' favourite Stuart Sinclair. People were flying all over the place in the away end that night! To their credit, Luton fans applauded us off the pitch.

Best: Hard to decide between Gianvito Plasmati's volley from the halfway line which went 30 yards wide, the time we forced the players to train for two weeks after the end of the season, when Dean Cox did his ACL or when Becchetti kicked Hessenthaler up the arse. They're all winners in my eyes.

Worst: Playing four of the shittest sides in League Two in our first four games and the unrealistic expectations on our minuscule squad that followed when we won them all.

Best was playing Liverpool at Anfield and not being beaten over 120 minutes

Most important was maybe Curle's rant after the Accrington game that forced our players to buck up their ideas and led to us avoiding relegation

We haven't really had any moments to shout about on the pitch, 2015 has been a pretty bleak year as far as football results go.

Lots of positive stuff off the pitch though - becoming the first football club to be a Living Wage employer; temporarily renaming our stadium to raise awareness for Prostate Cancer UK; and, best of all, making real progress on the new ground front with the recent announcement that Power Court was our preferred destination for a 17,500 stadium with potential to expand. Off the pitch the club is looking healthier than it probably ever has in my lifetime, just a shame that it isn't being reflected on the pitch currently.

Christ, I thought we'd had it bad for the last few years.

The most important result of 2015 for us was beating Tranmere 1-0 at Field Mill, despite being second best for the majority of the game. It pretty much certified our barely deserved League status.

We were every bit as shite as we had been all of last season, however the relief all round couldn't have been more noticeable.

Dominating the conference for the full season, winning more games and scoring the most.

That was probably one of the biggest games in our history and I've never been so nervous, I took the time off work to come back on a Tuesday night and stay over so could come some beer before and after the game was that nervous. In the end it was a crazy game

Ricky Modeste changing from a normal man to a demi-god. Thanks again for the equaliser, Ricky.

Signing Ricky Holmes from Pompey in January although we have done well without him for the majority of the first half of this season...

You're right Adam, and it can quickly be forgotten how important a result that was. As it turns out it didn't matter in the end but we'd lost 5 on the bounce beforehand and then went on to lose the subsequent final 3 games.

We were truly dreadful and on any other season was probably deserving of relegation. Fortunately there was 3 teams even worse than us, including Tranmere, who were better than us throughout the park that night.

We even had to endure the usual 13 minutes injury time. Dreadful game, massive result.

when the full time whistle went somewhere else and somebody else had done the job of saving us from relegation , still at least lessons were learnt
