Ourselves and Crawley have had identical Septembers, four wins on the bounce after that 3-3 draw at EP. Reckon their gaffer should get the manager award, however, since it's a much bigger achievement with his resources

Before Saturday we had an amazing record of the most cards and fewest fouls in the division at the same time.

That just signifies that your lads don't make challenges, just calculated GBH

TBF last season we had the most red cards and fewest yellows

They're basically all for kicking the ball away. It's like they can't stop themselves. And our right back can't take a throw in so keeps getting booked for timewasting even when he isn't.

Two of the classic two needless bookings.

I have every sympathy with the officials when Nemane takes a throwing, and never too upset when he's booked. Throw the damn thing.

Nice to see us top of something, at least we’re a pretty clean side if nothing else. Stockport bottom I see, so expect they’ll be quite a niggly bunch tomorrow.
Yep I debated whether to put cleanest club at top of table but thought that's boring.
So put the worst offenders at top.
From what I've learnt FGR are top of table through just one player who seems to pick up a card every match he plays.

Good month for us. 2 fairly tricky home games in MK Dons (at the time they were in the top 3) and Colchester (who I think are better than there league position) we won both of them. Then two tough away games at Wrexham and Wimbledon, where we got points I'm both, scoring in last minute at Wimbledon and conceding in the last minute at Wrexham. The only easy looking fixture we won comfortably at Forest Green.

Chris Long probably has a decent chance for player of the month scoring 5 and assisting one goal in the month. Whereas Bell will probably be edged out of the manager of the month by Stockport or Crawley boss.

Think we can all agree that results for September should expunged from all records due to the bounce in the covid epidemic.

I can understand your reasoning & motive;
1st game of season a 5-1 victory v Notts Co but two months later they sit top of table and ..........................

Look at all those away attendance listings, GTFCfish will be happy.
Too right and we sit proudly at the top of the one we all care about, the only one that matters, which is the total home and away supporters at all of each teams away matches, so basically as long as you play Bradford early in the season you will be near the top of it.
Lovely stuff.
Well done Alfie.

All joking aside, for the entire top half of the division to be averaging 6000+ is borderline obscene when you look at averages over a decade or two ago. I can't believe we're averaging 6500+ and are in 10th. Great to see and exactly why ticket prices need protecting.

Couldn't agree more. Some very surprisingly impressive figures in that home attendances table, and universally it looks very healthy compared a decade or two ago.

What is interesting is many of that top 10 have been #stained (some more than once) during the past 2 decades and required a reset and some quiet time to think about what they had done, down in the Non-League. Doesn't look like it's done any of them much harm in the long term now boasting fantastic home support.

Ours have increased almost completely due to us finally ousting John Fenty and getting decent owners in. We averaged 5700 in the NL as soon as he'd gone, which is the highest we've had since we were last in the second tier in 2002/03. Added another 400 or so onto that last season but obviously we've got bigger away crowds coming to BP in L2.

What makes it more insane is that it’s during probably the worst cost of living crisis we’ve ever had (certainly that I can remember anyway) and yet fans are still flocking to games in their numbers in the 4th tier.

Except when they charge £27 for a ticket! Guess we know where the cut off is for acceptable ticket prices

Swindon Town will never be forgiven for WHAT THEY DID to our away support average.
